Last night, in the post-game interview, Doc cry-me-a Rivers said, "Guys, I don't complain much" and then proceeded to complain about the refs. Does Doc...black out during games or something? He is always complaining and whining. That's his thing even after games. The Clippers lead the league in technicals because they are always whining and crying. Meanwhile, the Spurs are the total opposite. Spurs had the least amount of technicals this season.
He... doesn't complain... much? How much more complaining could he do? Not as much complaining relative to what? A spoiled 4 year old child?
Clippers complain on every damn play. He's complaining nature fits in with CP3 and Blake so well, that's why no one likes them, fans and other teams.
lol, that's rich. he's constantly whining about something. i'm actually ok with coaches and owners (like cuban) speaking out about what they perceive to be poor officiating, but don't preface it by saying that you don't complain.
I'm always surprised how some coaches/players never seem to understand the more you complain the less you are going to get calls in yout favor ...
No one mentioning CP3 intentionally tangling himself with Kawhi and throwing himself on the ground during that out of bounds play just before the DJ tip in goaltending call? Clippers down by 1 and less that 10sec on the clock. I chuckle to myself, CP3 is going to focus on trying to manipulate the refs rather than just playing. I called it with confidence. Maybe the play was to go to Blake anyway and his flopping is a moot point, but it still is aggravating to watch. That one play is, IMO, a microcosm of why CP3's teams have and always will fail. He's a phenomenal talent, but that flop-first-whine next mindset, rather than just playing the damn game, rots the culture of the team from the head down.
And considering Doc encourages this type of behavior, it's not likely to be fixed any time soon. This team is entitled, full of themselves, and despite their great talent they'll never win anything. While I still hate Stern with all of my purple and gold blood, he did us a favor by keeping Paul out of our locker room.
^^^ I honestly think Kobe would have straightened him out real quick. Still remember his take about blatant flopping .... "come on where's your balls??"
At the very end of the game, Doc Rivers decided to play his son for "defensive" purposes. Austin Rivers then proceeded to ball watch on defense and allow Danny Green to shoot a wide open 3pter. Then, on this missed free throw, he did not box out the shooter. CP3 realized that Austin Rivers failed to do his job and illegally grabs/pulls on Green's arm. What's worse is that Austin Rivers doesn't even bother to try to get the rebound. He just stands there, watches, and floats away. 1. Hey Doc, do you blame the refs for this too? 2. Hey Doc, if you want to win, stop playing your son. He sucks.
CP3 is such an annoying player.... Even on the last play when they were on bounding he tried to flop.
Even worse. He first said he was not going to blame the officials, then he proceeded to blame the officials.
Paul does nothing BUT play dirty now. He is constantly slapping, pulling, reaching, etc and yet when anyone breaths on him he falls to the floor. Seriously what kind of weak era of basketball is this? Give that f***er a hard foul and let him know what a real foul is.
I'm not sure what happened. When I last saw, Spurs were up by about 10. Now, the Clippers are up by 9 midway through the 3rd quarter.
