Still early in the series, but, Clippers gon Clip. Games like this are why I laughed before the series at the luck of their first round draw. They can still win the series, but you ask me to pick the defending champs and all their experience or the...Clippers, not a hard choice. Clutch game from CP3 tonight.

This game was shocking to me. I really thought the Clippers would do better than this. I know they lack depth, but starters play more minutes in the playoffs, and their starters were one of the best lineups in the league. They got exposed tonight.

Kawhi is also a beast. He doesn't get noticed as a "star", but his impact on the game is clearly on that level.

What is scary, the Spurs went cold at times and the Clips went colder. My call is after watching today, Spurs in 5. The Clips are running about three players deep and none of them are consistent. The Clippers played some reasonable defense, but the Spurs just had too many ways to beat them. Parker looks like he is playing and 50 percent, and Ginobli is playing inconsistently but had 6 rebounds and assists as well as good defense and a few blocks on defense.

I think Butler would be better to max out than Leonard for this team, just a feeling that the Spurs system makes his stellar talents shine a little brighter than otherwise.

The Clips get by on talent during the regular season. In the postseason, their inability to defend at a high level and execute under pressure is exposed.

This is their 4th postseason appearance in a row. It doesn't matter if the coach is Vinny Del Negro or Doc Rivers. The core group of CP3, Biff, and Deandre simply aren't a championship core.

I'm secretly hoping clips get bounced for several reasons but one being that DJ gets tired of getting bounced and decides to leave. That'll make it easier for us to go after him but at the very least breaks up that front line thus weakening their defense.

Also, Matt Barnes sucks in the playoffs. Terrible shooting, important defensive lapses, love it.

Also, Spurs can get away with "hiding" a guy like Tony Parker on defense by having him "defend" Barnes. Lol.

If we drafted a big, I'd throw the max at him on day one. Hope Carroll waits for the Spurs to inevitably match. Then throw similar money at Carroll once Leonard is off the board.

I loved watching that pummeling. I expect Clipps to come out of the gates strong today, have to save some face after being embarrassed like that. Either way, they're showing they're no match for a better, smarter team with Leonard and Timmy.

Duncan is amazing. Always looks the same, like he's on cruise control out there, never like he's 38 years old.

Spurs can't buy a basket all quarter and haven't been able to defend against the Clipper guards.

Gotta give the Clippers credit. They played well today. Especially the bench players.

CP3 said it best, Rivers was the difference in the game today coming off the bench and giving them an added lift.

CP3 played great but with Austin they would be 1-3
