Harden thinks he's not getting enough foul calls his way. Lol!

Never thought I'd see the day someone would say DJ is better than anyone at anything mental and be correct about it. This is concerning.

I've got a buddy who moved here just in time for the Clippers to start climbing out of the ground and for the Lakers to crumble (around 2011/2012). He's a hardcore Clipper fan and he's been giving me s*** for a couple years. I've been staunch in my hating.

This is the first time in- ever -that I respect the Clippers more than their opponents.

    1. Harden is a soft-boiled egg in the Playoffs. Where's his swagger now that the game is physical? He's being locked down by JJ f***ing Reddick. Are you kidding me? Some piece of crap that an old Kobe was torturing in the Orlando series in 2009 when Kobe was 6 years older than Harden is now? THIS is the runner-up MVP? For f***s sake grow a pair and compete! Watching him is like watching the ball-hog at your local rec center. Dribble, dribble, step back, dribble, step back again to a fade away three pointer over a contested hand. He's terrified of going to the rim. He's not responding to the moment. This is the Playoffs and you're down 1-2... You think it might be time to shoulder the load?

    2. Howard is one of the biggest disappointments I can remember- both literally and figuratively. This huge pansy has been in the league for over 10 years and has one post move: dribble, dribble turn to the right and chuck up absolute GARBAGE at the rim. No touch, no finesse, no ABILITY. He's being shown up by a hefty size pile of bricks named DeAndre Jordan. Then when the end is in sight instead of fighting for the win like a warrior, he pouts and gets himself thrown out like a coward. What an absolute embarrassment. I could not be any happier he's not a Laker. He doesn't DESERVE it.

    3. Gotta respect Blake. I think he's ready to be a #1 next season. Honestly, I'd trade away Paul if I could for a decent, young PG and then use the extra cash to fill out the bench.

    4. I cannot possibly hate Rivers more than I do. He's a horrible person to be around for basketball. He's a poison.

    5. I hate both these teams so much. It makes me sad Trevor is in Houston.

^^ Beautiful post, real. Couldn't agree more with anything there. It's truly annoying to see the Paper Clips getting to the WCF, but WAAAAAAY better than the Sprockets doing it.

    Thanks LJ.

The more I think of that Houston team the more it sickens me. A group of limp-wristed cowards.

It's not just that they are losing and shying from the moment. It's that they're losing, shying away from the moment, and when it all is said and done it won't matter to them. They won't care this summer when they're fishing and the Clippers are in the Conference Finals. Sure they'll THINK they're mad and they'll THINK they're preparing for next season, but they won't be.

They won't be beating themselves up and getting up at 3 in the morning with cold sweats trying to figure out how to keep this from happening again. They won't be developing a chemistry with themselves and their teammates. Howard won't come back with a post game and the ability to shoot free throws.

They'll continue this path of good regular season play and embarrassing Playoff performances... Just unbelievably pathetic.

Sorry but why are you calling Deandre Jordan a hefty pile of bricks? I'd take him any day. He's prob the best rebounder in the league. Unless you're just referring to his offensive repertoire. Easy enough to get him buckets too though, just lob the ball above the backboard for a one handed slam.

Kenny Smith calling out the poor free throw shooters.

In a suit, off-centered, retired for almost 2 decades, while talking and saying that you should be able to make a free throw with one hand...*swish*

I really do not understand how these guys are so bad at freethrows.

Because a) his free throws b) his post game c) his inconsistency d) his lack of brain power.

I'd take him in a heartbeat because he's enormous and has almost no injury history, but he's a hefty bag size pile of bricks.

    Some good posts above ^^^

The Rockets are a complete joke. I feel bad for former NBA champion Trevor Ariza playing with team leaders Beard + D12.

I said earlier that Houston's biggest problem is that they're led by two children. The difference between Dwight and Harden is that there's still hope for Harden to grow out of it. Harden made strides this year. Dwight is who he is at this point.

Harden's very image conscious (the beard thing is silly), and the "cooking" stuff is child's play. Obviously in and of itself, it's harmless, but it's indicative of a type of person. But the thing that bothers me most is that he doesn't seem to have any sense of duty about taking over. The great ones, even when they were young and immature, always came after you with guns blazing. He's just another player in this series, and hasn't imposed his will at all.

Good point. Kobe was a killer as far back as 2000, 2001. Magic was a killer from Rookie year. Bird the same, Duncan the same. Dwight will never get it, and Harden still doesn't have the fire that Westbrook has.

Usually, a team is reflected by their leadership; when things get tough for Houston, they point fingers. Who are suppose to be their leaders? Dwight and Harden. It's not a concidence they both fold up when adversity comes their way...

I want neither team to win but seeing Houston get spanked is worth the Clippers winning. I'm actually hoping for the Clippers to close it out next game in Houston, have their so called leaders quit at home would be great.

Jordan needs someone good to get in his head and fix his FTs. His form is 3x as good as Howard's or Shaq's. Save the wear and tear on his body this summer and do nothing but fix "that". He can defend and jump into the stratosphere like a super hero to throw down lobs...... in his sleep. Have to say I really like his outward demeanor. He "seems" like a great teammate and a good guy. Love seeing him outplay Clown. Anyone here think the Rockets would have been better served in the playoffs with Tarik Black than Josh Smith? Just wondering.

Ha! Great point. I think Tarik is a gamer so yes. Also here's Smith stat line in the Clippers series:

    Points: 6.25
    Rbnds: 6
    Assits: 1
    Blocks: .75
    Steals: .75
    Fouls: 2.25
    FGm/FGa/FG%: 9/33/27%
    3PTm/3PTa/3PT%: 1/9/11%
    FTm/FTa/FT%: 6/15/40%

Just such great numbers. What a great contributor to a great team. Definitely worth dropping one of the best rookies from the season's crop of players.
