Well, the decade reference was me being generous to Clippers fans. I didn't want to say 4 down seasons in 21 years ('93/'94, '04/'05, '14, '15). I doubt most Clippers "fans" right now even remember we were bad in '05, so I didn't go too far back or brag about our 5 titles in 16 seasons, and 7 Finals appearances in those seasons while they've never had one. And I certainly didn't want to go back beyond that, because that's just not fair, especially the 80's. Again, because I think most of these obnoxious "fans" are teens to people under 30 that have hopped on the bandwagon and don't understand how much better the Lakers are and always will be than the Clippers as a franchise. All they see is the Clippers are hot now, and we aren't, so they get all chesty. It's like all the Bulls fans that popped up out of nowhere in every state in the 90's when Jordan was winning, just following the cool/hot team. Not real fans that know basketball and the history, but people that like to wear hats and jerseys for fashion and jump from good team to good team or good player to good player. And of course, I agree with your entire post, just clarifying mine ha ha, poor Clippers fans, Clippers 'gon Clip.
