    No, I've decided we'll keep you around.

    But you are right in saying you won't find a lot of mutual support here. He's not the most likeable character, but his stats will keep him in the hall.

    I just prefer a "timeout" first. However, maybe his farewell tour humbled him enough. Nah..... Let him sit for 6-7 years first. And change the rules so that the last team you are on is the one you go to the Hall as. A Clipper!!!

    i suppose it's nice that he's trying to put a positive spin on being dumped prior to the end of his career. gotta hand it to ainge: most players in pierce's position might hold a bit of a grudge, but somehow he's on board with finishing his career in boston as a trade chip.
