Hou...we have confirmation lol https://sports.yahoo.com/sources-pa...anchise-prefers-joining-lakers-191520531.html
Dear Kevin Pritchard, #28 and your choice of Luol Deng or Timofey Mozgov. Final offer. Expires Thursday. Best Regards, Rob Pelinka
Why would you give up Randle when they now have zero leverage? Some reports have also said PG would like to play with Randle (and they share an agent), others have said PG said for us not to gut the team. I take those reports to be saying basically the same thing. JC, 28, whatever else to make salaries work is all I offer.
LTL, is Randle going to actually going you to stop you from finalizing a trade from Paul George, if we had the opportunity today? I don't think so. Sincerely, The Rational Fan
Things to keep in mind: 1. Randle, Russell, and George have the same agent and will likely want to stay together. Agents love having their guys in the same place it gives them power. 2. Lakers have no incentive to rush. Woj even says there's hardly any real offers out there. No need to give up anything of grand conseqence. I don't believe Pelinka will let the Pacers off the hook here. 3. We are getting Paul effing George. It's a good day people!
Have you noticed how many fast, versatile, impactful players GS has on its roster? PG is going to need all the help he and the 2nd star coming in 2018 can get.
This is what I'm thinking too. A deal around Clarkson and future protected picks. That's more than fair.
You like 26-win seasons? . Either way, we have the leverage, so a deal might not even include Randle, but it doesn't preclude me from trading him if the Pacers insist. Again, though, they have no leverage, so this point is probably moot. They have to negotiate under our terms and conditions.
Great. Great. Great f***ing news. We are finally getting a superstar. Couldn't be happier. Wait it out and we get to add Paul f***ing George a top 10 player and MVP candidate to what's already a really nice looking young corps.
