Lol wtf is going on around here... Mods need to pass the reigns, seems like it's taking away from the fun for y'all.
I keep seeing it, but I don't see actual trade scenarios that make a ton of sense. If he goes there, they can leave together next summer for LA.
I'll be worried if they somehow manage to get PG without giving up Love. Love-James-George-Irving starting line up would be insane and unforgiving! Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
What could Indy possibly want from clev that doesn't involve kyrie or love? Everybody else on that team is bunch of old overpaid vets that only do 1 thing and they don't seem to do em that well either
Or they can stay together if they win a title. Pretty much like KD staying in GS. We'll never know. Until something is in black and white, nothing is set in stone. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
I was being flippant. If George got to the Cavs, he'd be hard pressed to leave that situation for this one. I just don't see a path there. What incentive do the Pacers have to help out the Cavs? What package do the Cavs offer that really makes sense for the Pacers? Love? Why do they want him? He just proved he's an expensive third option on a championship level team. Why would I build around him? Thompson? JR Smith? No thanks. Shumpert? Pass.
PG's as good as gone. Pacers would gladly take a quarter for every dollar's worth of PG if no one would offer them a crumb and Love is no crumb. Of course they're in a position to push a little bit more than just a bargain. Hey, I'm not saying it's a clear path. Remotely possible but still a possibility. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
If PG wants to go freeze his a** off with that lake chill factor and being 2nd to the always LeBron hype rather than be comfortable in sunny So Cal and cheered in Dodger Stadium and a major Star in L.A. then go ahead. I thought PG wanted to be the man. LBJ not getting any younger. PGinLA talk to your boy and don't let him be stupid. Kobe should shut him off with the tutoring at that point. I am only half joking. If Kobe wants the Lakers to be on top again then this is what he can bring .... the beyond excellent perk of working with the L.A. players who want it, or his friends in the league who don't have the options of getting to L.A. Come on Mamba use your behind the scenes cachet and leverage.
I just wonder what the appeal is. I guess having a 3rd tier star is better than nothing, but if I'm losing Paul George then I'm just blowing things up. I don't need Love, I need picks and prospects. They don't really have young, interesting players. I don't know their draft pick situation off the top of my head, but they're likely to be late 20s picks. Maybe a three team trade could work.
But to be honest, no way in hell it's happening, not in any scenario. Not a chance. Unless of course PG would be desperate enough to insist on it or that dumb to think his situation is that desperate. KD may have won a ring. He may have carried GS. But record books will always remember he joined a 73-9 squad talented enough to win a title with or without him. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
