He's a good regular season player, confidence issues, ego and arrogance seems to plague his big pressure games. He should be embarrassed.

Thought just occurred to me. Would the Clippers have actually been a better team with a more well rounded roster if they’d kept Gallinari and Gilgeous-Alexander? That roster held their own last season in the playoffs, just like Toronto did before they added Kawhi. Doesn’t adding Kawhi to what the Clippers had make them contenders just the same, taking into account that Durant left the Warriors and the West was pretty wide open? Seems to me adding George may have been their downfall, he’s not highly spoken of as a leader, and his game takes a huge dive in the playoffs. I dunno, just a thought that occurred to me, they may have screwed themselves giving up that “haul” for Paul. In the end I know Kawhi doesn’t go there if they don’t make the move for George, supposedly (who can say with him and his bluffing/lying/playing teams), but still an interesting ‘what if’.

They gave up a crapton to get him. Ballmer will have and should have some sleepless nights ahead.

yeah, they kept saying they added PG and kawhi to a playoff team, but i was like...no...gallinari had just had one of his healthiest/best seasons (clips fans don't want to look at PG's stats this year and gallinari's last year), and SGA was a solid starter for their playoff team.

i'd still do the trade (well, that was a lot of picks...), mostly because gallinari generally doesn't play even 3/4 of a season, but the idea that they just added two stars to an already complete team was always misguided.

I still don't know why people were saying a 4th seed was the favorite to win the title. It's not like it was a returning team coming off a Finals victory. They were never really the favorite unless they showed they were. The power of buying the media I guess.

Totally and predominately east coast ESPN's influence on Media and never ending hate of all things Lakers. Eff those guys .... Boston crashing and burning will be comical too if it happens. What's Simmons had to say after game 2 I wonder?

What's interesting is Kawhi wanted Harden first. Considering the Rockets entire offence evolves around Harden, that was not a trade option. So then he settles for Paul George (but the media runs with the hype machine as if they got a Davis like player and we got a PG like player....).

Listened to a video that indicated PG is being shopped. That would be hilarious if the Slippers traded him. I say, send him to Memphis!!!

i thought it was durant and butler. i don't get the harden fit there. does kawhi want to stand around on offense the whole time?

it would be very clippers to do this. look, you made your bed. immediately alienating one of the first stars to ever choose you won't be a good look going forward.

both of those guys are on basically two year deals with an option. If they feel he might be P out after next season, they would be crazy not to trade him given how many assets they gave up to get him. That would be a horrible trade. Plus now that you know his balls shrink in the spotlight, it's not a bad move. Question is who else wants him and what can you get back?
