My head is freakin spinning from all these reports. I will believe nothing until I see him verbally commit to OKC. I don’t see how he could have possibly made a decision without even meeting with Magic and Rob yet though, OKC can’t be THAT awesome. IF he does stay in OKC though, fine, he made the wrong choice, he didn’t have the guts to come here, and hopefully LeBron has the guts to come here without assurances of a 2nd star already landed and we roll with him and the kids. If PG doesn’t come here now though, I don’t want him later, and he will be booed at Lakers games, and sure won’t be celebrated and welcomed by LA fans walking around Disneyland and Sea World and such.

If winning is as important to him as he says, then his best best is in LA with LeBron and Leonard. OKC will never make the finals while he is in his prime, given their nasty cap situation and Melo opting in.

If he stays, hope we play OKC in the first round next year.

Does PG staying leave us enough to stretch deng and resign Randle after signing lebron and trading for Kawhi?

I think it actually helps us do that more than PG, because PG would be 30 mil max, and Kawhi makes 20 mil next season. It would just suck to lose players instead of only adding to our players, but for the right players (only one of BI/Kuz plus picks and salary matching or however it works) if you can do Kawhi, LeBron, and keep Randle, that’s damn good.

He is considering us, too. We aren't out of it yet.

But we are coming from behind; at the very least, I hope he gives us a meeting.

ESPN radio is out of control. Every thought is conjecture and is turned into an “argument”. It’s just an orgy.

What I don’t get is why make that ESPN documentary if you’ve already made up your mind? To soften the blow to LA fans by saying how much you love LA but have to do what’s best for you? That doesn’t soften anything, the spectacle of it and the tease makes things worse if he doesn’t come to LA. If he didn’t do the doc, I wouldn’t feel worse because I didn’t get to SEE his thinking behind all this, the end result would be the same in that he wussed out and spurned us. Who really wanted to see him drinking wine with bee sting jaw Wade talking scripted nonsense anyway? This whole thing is incredibly weird.

Honestly feel like this is being set up so it can look like Magic and Lebron swept in and changed his mind.

If he does stay he enters Derozan territory as far as I’m concerned. Let him rot in OKC with no chance of a ring.

:D Damn I hope you’re right, the OKC fans would lose it.

Agreed. DeRozan wussed out, and he got what he deserved, multiple early playoff exits, the most recent one an absolutely embarrassing destruction by the Cavs.

Agreed. To actually sit there talking about how you dreamed of wearing the jersey and then signing with OKC is actually worse to me.

Don't even think about Dodger Stadium. They'll not only boo him they'll parking lot him too as has been done so well in the past sadly.

When you really look at the rosters and cap situation it’s just hard to believe anyone would think OKC gives a better long term shot at a title. That’s times a million if we land Lebron.

Yeah, I don’t see players flocking to OKC for the minimum to play with Westbrook, PG, and Melo (aside from Corey Brewer), while it was already reported/speculated todat that bet players would do just that if LeBron signs with us.
