It really deflates the video now that the script has been leaked.... I wonder if they still go through with it during the pitch lol. One thought came to my mind was that the voiceover guy was told to do less "Morgan Freeman/Denzel Washington" and to do it more like Jamie Foxx........why didn't we just get Jamie Foxx?

This seems like just an intro to the larger things Magic and Rob want to discuss. I'm glad they don't want anything too over the top like Morgan Freeman or Denzel type voice. Just make it clean is all. I'm not concerned by the video but just upset that this got leaked.
Maybe that voice over really isn't a pitch, but a narration to open the ESPN special if he chooses the Lakers.
Its a little cringey but it brings the news cycle back to us before free agency weekend. The past couple days we've been hearing a bit too much of him leaning toward okc.
If this is true, it’s cheesy as hell. BUT..if you want to go conspiracy theory, maybe it was “leaked” to show that we are preparing to pitch to Paul George and thus we haven’t tampered. Maybe a reach, but you never know. I don’t even know what to make of this. If he ends it going back to OKC on tv like that, it’s gonna sting like hell. If it ends with him as a Laker, well then clearly that was his plan all along and the Thunder lost Oladipo and Sabonis for nothing, and their fans are going to HATE him. I sure hope it ends with us, because then I’ll never have to hear “we should have traded this and that player for him when we had the chance” again, we’ll still have those players AND PG.
Highly unlikely, but I wonder if both sides are playing games. We want the reports that he’s giving more consideration to OKC because it deflects from tampering accusations. Meanwhile, what if OKC is fueling those reports solely to make it look like they’re trying their hardest to bring back George ... but in reality they may want him to go to LA so they can avoid such a ridiculously high payroll.
