Paul George just had knee surgery, will be out 6-8 weeks: https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/...nd-is-expected-to-be-sidelined-6-8-weeks/amp/
I figured it was the knee, he mentioned he was bothered by an injury during the playoffs or at least hinted at something was bothering him.
Waiting for a poster to write about impending doom and how Paul George is damaged goods and how this means he is signing with Clippers because he wore Clippers shoelaces this one time when he was 9. ..........
Dude will be fine. He’s not playing in 6-8 weeks. I assume he had some clean up work done (scope), players probably have that stuff done in the offseason once in a while and we don’t even hear about it. If he could come back from his leg snapping and his bone sticking out, I doubt this is a big deal.
i've always been told there's no such thing as minor surgery. being out 6-8 weeks isn't nothing, folks.
Where the hell did this even come from? I wasn't even aware he was hurt? Honestly, the more I'm thinking about the possibility of PG13 not coming here...the more I'm OK with it. I still want him here...but I'm not going to lose sleep over him not coming here either.
Ah the old hurt them before they can hurt you routine. It’s ok, protect your feelings, we’ve all been there probably. Then after we don’t sign PG, we can be like, stupid PG, psh, we didn’t want him anyway, he’s not so great, dumb doo-doo head.
Eh...I'm just preparing myself for the inevitable. Keep in mind the last big FA we signed was Shaq. It's been 22 years since we've signed anybody significant. With that way PG13 choked in Game 5, plus the fact that he's looking more like Iguodala than he is an MVP candidate....I can tell myself that it might be a good thing if he doesn't come here and our young guns continue to develop. Of course I still want him...but I'm losing less and less sleep over it now (although we do have to show something for the DLO/Clarkson/Nance dumps so in a weird way, we need to get PG13 to justify those dumps).
