what will be pivotal is a win tonight, to put the clamps on with a 3-1 lead. OKC having to win 3 straight.
Has PG played any "lock down" defense in the series so far? Not watching as closely as some of you I'm sure but I don't think I've seen anything of that nature?
Westbrook needs a point guard. Someone that can put him in position to be efficient. He shouldn’t play point guard because he’s too impulsive. Weird to say about someone with his stats, but he expends a lot of energy. That will drive PG away like I think it did KD.
A 3-1 deficit is not impossible to come back from. BUT, the odds aren’t great, and yes, we could be one Thunder loss away from PG saying “F this, I’m going to LA”. Mitchell isn’t exactly efficient, but it’s pretty ridiculous to see a rookie playing like he is, taking his team to wins. One more Jazz win, just one more win and the Thunder are one of the most disappointing superstar teams ever assembled. Melo has zero incentive to opt out, they have no money for a bench, and Westbrook isn’t suddenly going to mesh with these guys if he couldn’t with Durant in the end. Do the right thing PG, come home.
Anthony is looking like a shell of his former self...missing most of his bread and butter mid-range game. He couldn't move Crowder off him to get his shots off, struggling on close in ones too. Anthony will definitely not do a David West and take a massive pay cut to stay with OKC. George got his points but Ingles made him work for it not too mention the latter scoring back on him too.
I just want to say first that I really want to get excited right now after Utah did what they are supposed to but we need 1 MORE UTAH, please. Let's get this done on Wednesday. I've seen too many crazy things happening to get too confident. Please.... One MORE Twitter still was a lot of fun after the game: Haha
