    Per USA Today's Sam Amick:

Seems like he wants to play with a ball dominant star that can help him get good looks. Sounds just like Bron to me. And we have Zo to play set-up man too, just for s*** and giggles.

Put a full court press on his moms and get season passes to Disneyland for his kids to help sway him to come back home to LA...seems like family is going to be a huge factor in his decision.

The only thing really working for us is Paul George keep saying carefully worded response to every question as he should. That means we remain a possibility for this guy and I'm okay with being just a possibility for now.

I agree. Those quotes don't exactly inspire confidence if I'm the Thunder. There's a window there but it certainly seems like LeBron will play a big factor into the decision.

Not a lot of mention of Melo in that article. I still think Melo will opt in because he’d be crazy to not, and then the Thunder will have to pay George max and insane tax to keep George together with those 3. I’m not saying I think it’s a guarantee PG comes to LA, but I don’t think we’re out of it at all. He says he’s happy right now in OKC, but he has never closed the door on staying or leaving.

Tomorrow they should run it down George's throat just how much of our team is better than theirs (outside of Russ and Melo).

You're forgetting PG is used to carrying a team with garbage teammates. But in some ways I'm excited. The game will all be about PG, Kuzma, Ingram, Hart and the Purple & Gold. Sounds like an all Lakers outing to me.

I'd be pleased to see if PG still has his iso midrange game. Lost it with OKC's system. And he can score 40pts as long as we still win.

I hope OKC tries some shady business with Melo, gets caught, fined and all, boom, PG wears PG next year.

I'm not sure Carmelo could get 28 million in a total contract this summer, let alone in a single year. He'd be out of his mind to opt out. The Thunder are going to end up paying a quarter million dollars just to keep Carmelo/Westbrook/George on the same team.

Is there a tampering or other rule that prevents the Lakers from buying PG13s mom a house...or her own island?

Here's what we do. We gotta invite PG and fam to the Staples Center. Put up a temporary statue out front, he can chill next to Chick. Bring him inside, dim the lights, have a fake jersey retirement for him, put him inbetween 8/24. Then before we send him and the fam to their brand new mansion next to the beach. Hand each of them a shirt where PG is with Ghandi, Abe Lincoln and MLK.

Fine. We'll just track him down when he comes home for the summer and lock him in a room...
