If the Cavs sweep out the Pacers, that's gotta light a fire. Right? PG pissed off, pushes for a trade as soon as possible?
Memphis knows they need to blow things up after getting dominated. If the Pacers keep it close, do they think they are closer to contention than they really are?
Now after Game 2 Paul George singles out Lance Stephenson and says, "he's got to learn to control himself and be in the moment". He said Lance's body language has to improve. If I were his teammate I'd be pretty pissed off that he's going public with all these criticisms. These are things you say in the locker room and protect your guys in the media. Or of course he could just demand a trade this summer and get new teammates.
I don't want any malcontent teammates on our squad. Imagine how much he'd bad mouth this squad. I've moved on from this guy. Bad seed.
Indy is trash without Paul George. Teague is solid, Turner is solid, and after that it's a ghost town. Black, Nance, and Randle are all good enough to challenge for starting PF on that team. Russ could start at the 2 easily. Ingram might even be able to start at the 2. Zubac would push for minutes this year, and he may well be good enough to rival Turner next year.
George has never been high on Lance which is why it surprised me when they brought him back into the fold.
