I predict that the entire year will not go as everyone expects. Expect some twists and turns and plot variations before the end of the season.

OKC will likely not be able to afford to keep this team intact, so there are many variables yet.

What does "like I said" add? Likewise here .... do not agree.

For one thing what we are going to be looking at come FA time and possibly set up earlier by the trade deadline is going to be beyond what the team looks like now just 19 games into the season. Plus barring injury even our own young players like Ingram, Kuzma and Ball will be markedly improved by that time. OKC is not going to fork over 300 million including luxury tax to get bounced in the playoffs and as has been mentioned Melo isn't even giving the same obligatory words of loyalty that he's going to stick around either at this point. As PG has been careful to do to do it the respectful and proper way. PG has a fab home here in the San Fernando Valley. All the smoke all summer was he wants to come home and be the MAN on his childhood hometown Lakers. Is that enough for you to maybe at least consider it's not as cut and dried as you're stating?

it's one of those things where i'll have to see it to believe it

anything can happen obviously but given the situation, i'd be very shocked if it happened

just watched the last few minutes of okc/det. george is just not involved in the offense down the stretch; it's bizarre. to his credit, he made three great defensive plays in the last 4 minutes alone, but was relegated to spectator or trigger man (at best) in the offensive sets.

wonder how long he'll be ok with that (and how long their coaching staff should pursue this strategy).

He's not being used properly. If you switched him out with KCP and changed nothing else, we'dbe 3 games above 500. Hes that good and we've been tht close.

Clearly isn't working for them but when you have two players firing at will, I wouldn't really blame the coach, at least not totally.

Yeah it seems its becoming a legit concern. As much as youre capable of beating GSW one night, seems like they cant consistently win that way.

There's one special thing in that game against GS that rarely happens at least for this season, WB making close to half of his gazillion FG attempts.

Durant emotionally took himself out of the game.. Arena was going nuts lol. Anyhoot man glad to hear about a loss haha. I did NOT, want them to go on some crazy game winning streak after GSW. Up and down losing is great for us cause that EASILY makes him think i can bring my talent to LA,run and and gun with the young bucks...along with hopefully Lebron/Cousins.

i don't know; it looked to be by design. they just stuck him on the weakside, and the plays weren't designed for movement.

i sort of hate their style of play. i hated it when durant and harden were there, too. houston basically plays this way, just super fast. still, so little movement other than the ballhandler and the screener, as a way to preserve spacing. it's just so horrible to watch, even if it's really effective for some teams. and when it goes south, it looks really bad.

They changed coaches and nothing really changed. Lots of iso ball and lots of standing around. The thing about our offense is it's a read and react offense with lots of movement. Eventually our offense isn't a machine right now, but that's what we're aiming for. It's got to be a hell of a lot more fun to play in than that OKC offense. I'm days when Russell isn't an MVP they look awful and it's because he's their entire offense.

PG13 with a season high 10 assists and one of his career lows 2pts on a horrendous shooting night against the current Western Conference's worst team.

    Another win for us.

The pieces don’t fit, their record is a shocking 8-11 (same as ours), they need to do something drastic. Randle and JC for George. Heck we’ll throw in Zubac too, even Vander Blue if they want.

If we could push for a trade right before the ASG, it'd be great. I'd buy all LA versions of PG1 shoes...
