You're both right: He's a warrior, quirky, and competes like a wild man, but also the sight of his face annoys me.

Huhmmm... R1 of last season's playoffs was his best run stretching back to a couple of weeks prior to the post-season. The guy just went off, virtually unstoppable.

The Cavaliers were just basically letting the entire Pacers team shoot the ball from point blank but George and yet he still managed to produced such great numbers. In G4, he eventually ran out of gas.

If he remains the way he was in the last quarter of last season, OKC will give the Spurs a run for their money for a WCF spot. The guy's just scoring at will. And he plays defense. If there's something most people tend to overlook in their easy judgment regarding the inevitable comparison of him and Durant, it's that defense. Not that KD is a terrible defender, PG's just way better.

I think OKC will not be bad enough for them to trade him, but also not be good enough to make any real noise.

    Me too.

He's like a smaller version of Kobe.

Don't understand all the hate he gets and don't buy this BS he can't win a championship. If Harden never gets traded he's likely a multiple time champion already.

If we're going to be honest about WB. I don't like him. I hate his guts, I hate how he looks. I hate his demeanor inside the court.

And he's no Kobe. Not even close.
But hey, if it works well having him with PG in LA, I'll reconsider.

I don't like Westbrook either. I think it's incredibly hard to build a contender around a ball-dominant guard nowadays. His demeanor is similar to Kobe, but he's actually a smaller version of Lebron --- a player that relies heavily on athletic superiority.

OKC at best makes the WCF barring Westbrook or PG getting injured

depends on how the spurs do too. i think OKC can beat HOU in a 7 game series

Pointing out weak spots of PG's game.

    1. His inability to create his own shot. I mean, yes he's good at it and I maybe asking for too much but we're talking about being the best player here right?

    2. Well, that's about it. Maybe creating opportunities for his teammates but he's never been around truly reliable players so creating opportunities isn't exactly a good high 2nd priority for PG as a leader.

Highlight of his game is the SMOOTHNESS especially with his pull up js and his recent consistent downtown shooting.

A couple of great 3rd and 4th options in the team and they may give GSW a good series.

their bigs are Adams/Kanter now, they're screwed....Adams isn't/wasn't as good as they hoped (actually regressed last yr) and Kanter is Kanter, a guy you can't even play during playoffs cause his D is so atrocious

i've seen george create his own shot quite effectively. didn't he single-handedly murder us down the stretch in a game last year?

He can create pretty well for himself and decently for others, but he's actually best coming off of screens.

Murder is a bit of a stretch and I was talking about "in possibly being considered the best player". With his talent and caliber, being one of the Top 10 Top 15 or All Star All NBA team won't cut it for him. Done all of those. Think it's time he's starting to entertain the idea he can be the best at what he does.

He's good at it but he can do better. :)
