    No. You can only have one super-max per team and you have to stay with the same team for 7 years to qualify so George is now unable to get that contract.

    Nope. DPE eligibility doesn't get traded like Bird rights. They can only offer the B.R. max.

    The big issue with Randle is his cap hold and the Lakers needing to extend him down the road.

    -I've been privy to hear things on & off the last 4-5 years. As far as elaboration, LA felt confident of getting George previously, and now with this trade, they're even more entrenched with that thought becoming reality. The only difference is having to wait another season.

    Lol. Moving from the 7th seed in the east to the likely 4-6 seed in the West is not much of an upgrade. West is tougher to get through. Without any other big moves they're still behind GS, SA, HOU at least.

    This is all dependent on Russell; again, if he isn't deferring to Kevin Freaking Durant, is he finally changing is tune and and going to completely revamp his game for George? Also, is Paul wondering why KD had to leave and go elsewhere to win a title? That should tell you enough. And of course, OKC is still OKC...

    They're so salty and jealous of the success the Lakers have had.
