If Utah retains Hayward that'll be a big blow to the C Bags. Losing in on Jimmy Butler and Hayward would be awesome
Id still like to see Hayward leave Utah though lol, it would reduce competition in west n set utah back for yrs lol (i still hate Utah and their fans, just like sukcramemto)
I stepped out and didn't hear anything about Utah and Hayward. There's a ton of moving pieces here. I'm not giving up anything just yet.
So why stay in frigid Boston? The hundred million dollar question. If he has grown up loving the Lakers he knows the history and the ongoing challenge. Why stay there. I like what we are going to have starting on our roster with who's here now, come 2019 better than Boston. Zu a BIG reason. BI a HUGE reason. L. Ball by 2019 a HUGE reason.
Way too early to be in panic mode as a fan base. Nothing has even happened yet. These sources and reports are all over the place.
But why would be come to us? He has a relationship with Brad Stevens (coach at Butler) and Miami because of ties with players there. Utah for money reasons, us no reason. Unless he's being recruited by PG himself
whats his tie to Mia? I dont see any former Jazz players there. Its just Riley doing Riley things, same logic we should apply with Magic. Doesn't hurt to try does it? Hayward would be a decent replacement even if we dont get Pg next yr.
The truly interesting part here: if Boston makes this move without an extension from George... and LeBron leaves this summer for the Lakers... Does that help or hurt George's chances going to the Lakers? Leave Boston while there's no real competition out there? Or go to LA and play with LeBron on the Lakers? Man... tough call.
