The funny thing is George could already have told us hes coming anyways and glad were not giving up to much for something early youre gonna get anyways.

I think he does go to Clev. Maybe it would be a good thing to see how he likes playing with Lebron before they try to bring it here. We need Kyrie to bounce somewhere himself.. Would be a clean blowup.

Yep and it doesn't appear anything is close. Probably because as we've been hearing for weeks. Nobody wants Love.

FA window begins in less than 5 days..
Indy probably waits for the desperation.

Don't forget or discount that workouts with Kobe should commence soon if not already. We'll have a direct line of communication with PG then. Through our GM's best friend. Needless to say, we should have an great idea of PG's intentions and whether we need to make an asset swallowing trade or just hold tight and use some asset(s) to get rid of Deng and prepare for a BIG summer of '18.

Cav's don't scare me. They'll still lose if they trade for PG and next summer will be the last we see of them as they will bust it up and PG will go and do what he said he would all along.

Yeah that makes sense Amico. They deny anything about a deal ever being discussed but say they will revisit. mmkay.

I hope that no one trades for PG and just sign with us outright next year, they get nothing

Its all on George, if he sticks to his guns and its Lakers next year regardless then we are fine no matter what happens. We are actually in better position if we don't make a deal, in addition to the fact that it will probably piss of the Indy GM even more.

Best scenario is someone like the Cavs trade for PG, still loses and PG signs outright with us anyways. That'll end the Cavs. Or the C-Bags. God I hope that happens to the C-Bags.

If PG sticks to his guns and other teams walk away, its just a matter of time before the Pacers settle and get something in return.

In fact other reporters have already said these talks didn't get far anyway.

It's just annoying seeing the Pacers jumping through hoops to deny us our prize.

Do you think it's still possible they settle with Lakers?

I've kind of given up considering how loathe they are to help PG or the Lakers. I'm expecting they take a crappier deal.

they won't help the lakers unless it favors the pacers--they WILL help someone else. that's the vibe i'm getting. i just think morey and ainge are still in shark mode. i bet they're offering their worst stuff (morey barely has anything to offer). ainge kept our pick and this year's #3 out of conversations for jimmy butler, apparently. what does that mean he was offering for george? jonas jerebko and a second rounder?

Yeah I'm struggling to understand his market. Love is unmovable, nobody wants our assets, but Chicago is really high on an athlete that tore his ACL and a busted lottery pick? And if no one wants our assets, why would Brooklyn pay so much for Russell?

What the f*** is happening out there? It'll be interesting to see what is all smoke when things settle down.

I am sort of done with the PG-13 stuff. If he comes, great. If he doesn't, we have Ball, Ingram, Randle and Zubac with a boatload of cap space. We'll figure it out regardless.

i will say that magic's confidence is reassuring. but it's possible it's misplaced confidence. byron scott swore players wanted to come here; now magic is. hopefully this one turns out differently. but you really can't fault people for being skeptical.
