Thank you Andy Mintz (PG's agent)

If Pacers screw around we can go SAVAGE on them in a No Deng No Deal scenario.

You take Deng for Paul and say thank you !

It's either lit or groovy. One of those. I'm not sure.

Weird that he tweeted about that game but he didn't play in it. Rookie year.

Chris Broussard said George isn't that "special" when discussing if Lakers should trade that #2 pick.

His reasoning was George hadn't taken the Pacers anywhere, but a 7th said recently.

Was it not just three years ago they were in the East Finals against Miami?

Year before as well. They were about the only team that ever seriously challenged Miami during LeBron's tenure.

Paul George was a damn huge reason why.

Then he broke his leg. If it wasn't for that odds are they're in the East Finals again. Team got blown up and still with a roster in flux made the playoffs. Took the Raptors to 7 games and played the Cavaliers pretty tough albeit in a sweep.

Paul George isn't LeBron, isn't Kawhi, but he's a great player. On both ends of the floor this guy is terrific along with being a ball handler, playmaker, and a capable closer as well.

We should all and rightfully so be thrilled to land an elite talent like George.

the media's opinion of george will vary dramatically based on whether he gets traded to la or not.

He's right that we shouldn't trade the #2 pick for him because we don't have to as Indy has no leverage, but he's wrong, for all the reasons you pointed out, that George is not that special. He's one of the best players in the league, he elevated his game in the playoffs and went right at LeBron. If he were under contract for at least 3 years we'd give up the #2 pick for him in a second.

i'd have a hard time coming up with 10 guys i'd rather have than paul george, all things considered.

    definitely:

    lebron
    kawhi
    anthony davis
    durant
    curry

    maybe:

    paul
    westbrook
    harden
    greek freak
    john wall
    jimmy butler
    lillard?

george is definitely on par with most names in that second group, imo. getting him would be huge.

I'd take George over Paul, Wall, and Butler for sure. Probably lillard too, and Harden but only because I hate him.

Paul George was a buzzer beater away from leading the Pacers over the Heat in 2013. George can be the #1 on a team and take them to a title. He just needs help. 2 way players like him are a handful in the league. You get him and you get him fast.

I would have accepted giving the Pacers the #2 had they not traded D-Lo. That ship has sailed. Give Indy what you can give them and if they dont want it, f*** em. Wait til next year.
