Guys... relax. I'm tense, but we haven't given up everything. So far we've given up one piece and yes I know it was a big piece. Let's see what shakes out before we freak out more. There's a plan in place here.
Evidently, we don't have any. At least that's how everything happening right now looks like. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
This forum feels the same way it did after we signed Mozgov. So I'm going to continue to freak out actually.
Prepare to be mute forever. The way things are going, it appears Magic is willing to part ways with basically everything just to get George. Sent from my E6533 using Tapatalk
I think we should all bombard magic Johnson's Twitter and tell him how we feel!!! Check out Earvin Magic Johnson (@MagicJohnson): https://twitter.com/MagicJohnson?s=09 Who's with me??!
magic and rob straight up panicking. felt like magic did on the lou williams trade, too. rocky start; what may be happening here could rival the moz/deng fiasco in terms of long-term damage.
I said earlier I feel the same way now as I did then. Again, I think this turns out better than that did but right now...
I'll be skeptical, but I'm trying to keep an open mind... Everything will suck until we see Paul George playing in our uniform. That'll take a lot of sting away.
you got a lot of faith. seems like indy's taken the reigns when they had no business doing so. boston will probably rent him without giving up our pick or the bkn pick, convince him to stay, then use our next 2nd overall pick to trade for whomever we're targeting with our new-found 2018 cash.
Who would have ever predicted that we would have the Kings to thank for preventing Magic and Rob from making a potentially disastrous series of trades just to land PG a year early. I really hope for the sake of the Lakers that this information is completely wrong and Magic and Rob never planned to trade the #2 pick for the #5 and #10 picks, and then package the #10 pick with Randle for PG. If Magic and Rob really think the above scenario is a good idea, then we need to prepare for many difficult years ahead.
i actually suggested this exact trade weeks ago (though i may have had clarkson as the principal). that trade beats the hell out of the one that's already happened.
