too bad he won't be held accountable by the press. he knows that, and it's why he jabbers all day.

Who knows, they'll probably feature him on ESPN again and put him on all the shows all day to talk trash about everyone he's ever played with!

Meh..The media loves trash talkers, causal fans do too. Bev will probably have a long career in broadcasting ahead of him, in another year of so.

could see him getting frozen out by a lot of players in terms of access, and then he'd have to rely on having something other than hater takes to keep the audience engaged.

i'm just going to celebrate when he's finally forced into retirement. he's never added to my enjoyment of a basketball game. his game is as ugly as his persona.

Me too Bev, but I think I have as good of a chance as getting it as you do, you f***ing bum!

Best case: he's a mid level contract (and that's an overpay) for a team wanting a culture bump. Which is cutting his current pay in half.

Is he that oblivious to how his season whimpered out in the final two and biggest games?

While I would like this bum to have to play in China for the rest of his career, it won't surprise me if some team gives him as much as he wants. Many people seem to buy his positive impact on team culture.

Who's going to get the bigger contract .... Brick or Bev?

I could see a mini MLE maybe for Brick. Does Bev have one of those left in his attraction?

Russ 1000%. He'll give u a highlight here and there and will put up some stats. Dimwit gives you norhing except running around and yapping his mouth. Dude tricked hell of a lot of people, i'll give him that.
Still think it was a travesty, that he was wearing p&g and that we have a thread like this.

it's a good question. i think it might actually be bev? russ has demonstrated that he's not interested in the role he's best suited for (20mpg bench sparkplug). the most competitive teams don't want to use their only means for improvement for russ, imo. so that means that if he plays for a good team, it will be a vet min. bev might get a bit more than that on good team.

now, if a bad team with space wants to promise russ the starring role...maybe. i just can't see who that would be.

i guess the clips might retain russ on the tpmle, though, given that they don't need the tmple to add depth.

ok, i talked myself out of bev. russ will take the tpmle to stay in la, and bev will probably get less than that elsewhere.

Russ just guaranteed the biggest offer Clippers can give in a 2 or 3 year contract. He won't get more elsewhere and he fits perfectly the Clippers to run them without Kawhi/PG. Clippers can't find no one better and they'll lose more games next year than without him but they will still do it. He is balling in the playoffs but they lost all but the game he scored 9.
Maybe some crazy GM in a lottery team goes crazy on Russ. They do bad decisions sometimes.

Bev should go to some play-in contender on the mini-MLE. Bulls, Wolves, Wizards, Raptors could use him

mavs were desperate for a dog last year, and they do lots of dumb stuff. they gave mcgee three year full tpmle last year, so why not just do the same thing again?!

Yes Mavs should go all in and sign both Russ and Pat long term.
