i don't know if sabonis is better, but he's really good. it was a great trade for both teams. indy had two centers, sac had two pgs. each traded their better one, imo, but got stronger as a result due to better roster balance.
In 4th Q, loss at New Orleans, P-Bev makes an almost sidewinder shovel pass toward the hoop on a line drive. No one catches it, but it goes in for 2 pts. We all saw it. "WTF???" What a WEIRD shot that was!
bev hasn't been that bad since the horrible start. and playing him with a bigger pg can work. i'd be ok if we continued upgrading, but i totally understand stopping where we are and getting after it.
I don’t think that tweet means anything. There’s zero chance we wouldn’t at least explore trade opportunities involving him, so no way would we have already assured him that he’s for sure here to stay
With DLo, I think with a good coach it is Schroeder who becomes expendable. Bev's still give you a good POA when he not outsized see Halliburton. Unfortunately we have a coach who thinks Bev's is a wing so the FO has to protect him from his own tendencies. Otherwise Vanderbilt and Bev's for the right matchups (vandy for BI and Bev's for the halliburton types) would allow a lot of flexibility on defense. It's sad that the Lakers can't trust the coach to put them in the best positions for success
