He got caught on Antetokounmpo twice which went how'd you expect. My biggest issue was Antetokounmpo got to "guard" him a lot tonight and basically take the night off defensively. You got to make him work, especially when we're making AD run around like a mad man on both ends.
That’s a great point. My initial reaction was that this may have been one of his better games (not because he played great, just because my expectations are so low) but at the end of the day we’re still playing 4 on 5 when he’s out there. I’m recalling a quote from Avery Bradley where he had a very aggressive scoring game, I think it may have been against Trae Young. And after the game Bradley emphasizes how his thought process was actually still focused on defense; he realized that the best way to defend an elite PG is by being aggressive on offense, forcing them to chase you on that end, and tiring them out. Honestly… what is Bradley up to? He’s certainly a much more effective offensive player than Bev, is Bev really that much better than him defensively? I really don’t think so. Trading Bev for an impact player at a more needed position and then bringing back AB for emergency backcourt depth would be pretty nice. (And while we’re at it, throw Damian Jones as filler into the trade and replace him with Dwight).
hes absolutely cannot defend any 1, i don't get the love Ham has and why hes guarding opposing teams forward
I f***ing hate him. Was hoping after the Bron dunk, when he was hitting him on the back celebrating that Bron would think it was the Wiz player that hit him, turn and swing before looking.
I think it's more for motivational/ leadership purposes to get in they az let them know what colors they got on
I loved when PatBev was gushing about his coverage on KD in that game. KD's line was 31/9/7 on 50% FG (2-3 from 3). When they asked what trigger our taking over the game he said "My coverage on KD". I think KD was thinking one thing "Mouse in the house"
There is no doubt in my mind that it's political, somehow. No sane person watches the games and says... "Hmm... I need more of the Hobo".
he's salary ballast. if we move him, it will almost certainly be to a bad team who will then cut him. then he'll probably rejoin the clippers to attempt revenge.
