I think this makes clear who watches the game and who doesn't.
Durant had 1FGM with 3min to end the first half (!!!). We were up by double figures. He closes the half with 8pts. He starts the 3rd with another 2 makes with only one being an iso play, the rest were cuts to the basket and layups (not his game).
If that's not impactful, I don't know what is

He then goes on a run on the 3rd when Pat is out and the lead cuts to 3.

Pat's defense was a major factor in getting this W and setting the tone. That's based on the facts above, it's not even subjective. We can discuss other things that are more based on opinions but this one is pretty objective

In the face of near unanimous dislike for and well deserved derision toward, arguably, you have the Big Balls to come in and call it like you saw it, with more granularity to the observation. Sounds like. Strong devil’s advocate take. And we can still hope for his departure.

He's still a prick, and I hate him. So I will say he sucks since it makes me feel better.

I call what I see. I read the comments and the quote (which I lmfao btw) before watching the game and believed it was one (more) of his lunatic quotes. He definitely thinks highly of himself. It's also what gets him going anyway

So when I was watching the game, I had an extra look at it and it was really telling.

I still think he's underachieving and most likely will be a good asset to move down the line. He's been pretty useless in offense. But I think the criticism for yesterday and his quote is not warranted.

I'm sure if we traded him to a playoff team and we get worse, he'll attribute all of our failures cause hes not on the team and take most if not all the cred for playing on a playoff team

He's fooled another. Personally I'm not fooled by a big mouth and fake hustle.

Sure. He aggressively fronted KD. Guess what anyone on that roster could lob it over the top and there's not a damn thing a geriatric Bev would be able to do about it. KD would turn and score, leaving Bev in the dust. KD is 7 ft with go go gadget arms. Running head first into his belly button isn't going to prevent him from getting the ball. You know what "stopped" KD early? AD covering the back side of every one of those plays Bev fronted him. On those plays, Nunn could've done the same thing Bev did.

Or could it possibly be that KD knew the Nets were shorthanded, played 35 in a spirited game against the Clippers 24 hours earlier and knows how and when to turn it on and pick his spots because he's not going to be able to go full tilt for the full 38 he played against us. Based on your logic here, I guess someone has been shutting AD down in the second half of nearly every game this season.

I think the second notion is much more likely than a 34 year old Bev "locked up" one of the best scorers to ever do it. A Pat Bev who has look cooked this entire season.

When this bum really tried to D up KD without help from AD, he got whistled for 2 fouls in 5 seconds. The camera couldn't even keep up.

i didn't see the game, but we were coming off a game in which the opposition's strategy was to isolate on beverley and shoot over him. and they said so, baldly. and they beat us handily.

i'm not sure what world beverley lives in, but it's not the one i see.

anyway, we play the spurs 3 three times in the next few games. let's see bevs take their young guards out of the game. that should be manageable if he's as good as he says. and we should kill them if he can. i'm not holding my breath, though.

I talked about facts. What you're doing is going into "what ifs" to prove your point. You clearly have your mind set considering the different insults throughout the post against Bev.

I avoided going into any subjective takes on how he's defended him or what he done or not. Simply stated what happened with him in and off the court

"Facts" become fiction or simply theory when you fail to account for details and context.

Let's try it your way: AD was 1-4 in the second half against the Jazz, therefore Markkanen shut him down.

If that's not asinine, I don't know what is.

bev's advanced stats are all in the red. he needs to not play at all, tbh. he and nunn need to be transformed into some less-s***ty but slightly overpaid role players on longer contracts, like, yesterday.

bogdanovic was blowing by him, which is pretty embarrassing. i'm not sure how ham justifies playing him at all these days. maybe if you're getting beat and need a guy to muck up the game, but otherwise, he should be nailed to the bench until we can use his expiring contract in a trade.
