he's shooting 19% from three. been guarded on none of them just like the years when he shot near 40%. we just can't buy a break with shooting.
yeah it won't last, but who the heck did the voodoo dance on the Lakers to start the year? It's pretty crazy that this is the worst start ever since the 3 pt era began. We can't possibly be that bad.
I am surprised his shot is so bad due to his prior season but I'm not surprised by his lack of impact, always looked at him like a chiuwawa (spelling)....alot of barking from a such a small player but dont actually mean much to the opposing team
Folks here hated Avery Bradley. But the guy shot 38% from three for us last year. And I liked him a whole lot more than Pat BevMo.
Part of the reason why his shooting % is so low is that all of a sudden he thinks he's a shot creator? I've watched him sparingly and don't recall him doing many dribble pull up 3's. Just catch and shoot/play feisty D, please.
he's had plenty of clean catch and shoot looks, too, though. just the bizarre laker shooting curse at play up and down the roster.
Also because he was short 6 ft 3 same exact size as Pat Bev. But Avery was only 31 and BevMo is 34 and looks it. He looks like toast out there. Also we picked up Avery off the waiver wire for cheap and we traded THT and Stan for BevMo who is making $13 million. Ridiculous. Give me AB back instead. Oh yeah he actually shot 39% from three, higher than I thought. So let’s not talk about a Lakers shooting curse because he and Melo were lights out from distance. It’s just Ellington and Bazemore who crapped the bed last year (and AD and Russ of course).
Why does he take so many hero shots: his role is not a shot creator but he tries too much at times. Wish he would just stick to the basics instead of forcing things and run the plays: team could use playoff rondo type just to make sure the plays and not free lance which hasn't worked for them
Older players seem to start slow. You can't start too many old guys. By the time they get rolling you are out of it...lol.
