    That is so terrible. Just horrible. I don't even know what to say, really. I hope he and family can get justice for this and I hope they can find some kind of peace eventually. What a terrible thing. On a very selfish note, I'm upset that yet another guy who was doing well on our team is going to be out of commission. But I feel very bad for Wayne.

    Well said. A horrible thing for anyone to go through. Puts things in perspective of life, but at the same time the team has to find a way to continue playing not only with Wayne absent, but with heavy hearts too.

    Good luck to the Ellington family in finding who did this. My condolences go to them.

    The Lakers have until 2 PM PST to waive Wayne Ellington to save cash.

    I think they might be closer to offering him an extension than to cutting him. I'd be very surprised.

    Wayne has been excellent for us. Not as hot of a shooter as Meeks was, but definitely much more of a smarter, in control player with an excellent stroke.
