Curry failed. But its the first time he failed this bad. He has earned himself a chance to redeem himself. Its as epic as Jordan Speith's meltdown...it happens. I'm interested in his response next year.
Curry will bounce back no doubt. I still think he had undisclosed injuries that hampered him during this postseason. Curry was probably at 70% or less than his normal capabilities. That leg was not fully healed.
Either that, or a good defense with time to prepare to stop him neutralized his strengths This may cause him to become even better to overcome that happening again
Could be too...but the same defenders he faced last year Curry torched. Or...having to play defense against the likes of Irving took some starch out of him as well. Thompson did most of the coverage but the Cavaliers made Curry work too on that end.
