Really? I'm okay with it. He's got a good stroke when he gets a rhythm going. I still contend he and Lou are going to carry us some nights.

That shot to end the first? :Nick3:

My apologies go out to Nick Young for wanting him to pack his bags last season. He's been solid.

As a duo, it will keep the squad in games...or shoot them out of it. Mostly the former probably.

Just wish he would attack the basket more often instead of always setting for tough/fadaway shots.

Young is JR Smith without the athleticism and drive to the basket...

Seriously. As silly as NIck is, Smith is a bag of rocks. Nick is a consummate teammate and just wants to entertain the crowd. I'm not sure JR Smith could find the end of the maze on those kid menus at restaurants.

I'd take Nick over JR all day, everyday and twice on Sunday.

If it wasn't for Byron Scott giving him tough love, Nick might not have trained over the Summer like an animal, and could have been out of the league.

    Nick owes him everything

Nick is a chucker but he's been hitting a decent % this year and hit some big shots against the Nets tonight.

Got hot in the fourth that helped save the game. I think he's played really well so far this year. He's scaled himself back on the floor and dedicated more to being a better teammate. So far so good on his end.

He had a really nice drive or two last night. I like when Nick mixes it up. He should do it more.

Yeah I want to see him pump fake and drive, they usually bite on it and then he just takes a dribble to the left and launches it.

He's playing well, no? Like pretty much all season, is my eye test accurate here? Tonight I thought he was even solid defensively and deserved to finish out the game. I actually liked the lineup with he and Kobe to close, though it did suck for Russ to sit again, but JC was also playing well. Still, nice to see someone other than Lou close it out.

Nick's playing into the system and not going off and doing his own thing. He knows his role and is doing a nice job of it. He's hitting good shots from outside and moving the ball. His defense isn't bad either.

The tone is a little more serious from him on the court. He knows at anytime he could lose his minutes to Nance or Metta at any time.
