My god, who the hell hired this idiot doing the interviews? Asking stupid, worthless, generic questions. How does it feel to win the championship?! Ah, it feels good, is that the question you prepared the last 6 months working in the NBA? This is why you don't hire talentless morons to fill quotas.
Congrats to the Bucks! They are a very likeable team and Giannis put up a mind blowing game to close this out. Awesome to see CP3, Booker, Crowder and company lose. CP3 is the biggest choker in NBA history. It’s not that he didn’t play well (except game 4 when he didn’t bother to show up). It’s as TIME said, he didn’t display greatness. He didn’t inspire his guys to claw back into this thing. He wasn’t outstanding like he was last series. Ah well, I’m not shedding any tears about it, lol.
Thoughts on the 2021 NBA Finals. - Booker should change his tat from Be Legendary to Be Whiny. - Portis is this Finals' Artest and Mirotic is rolling in his grave. - 13 straight for Scott Foster over Paul. - The best Game 6 since the Game 6 of the WCF. - This will make Wisconsin think about something for awhile other than Aaron Rodgers. - From Abdul-Jabbar - Robertson - Dandridge to Antetokounmpo - Middleton - Holiday. - Antetokoumnpo...50 points for the last 50 year drought. - Paul probably heard the State Farm jingle before Game 6. - somewhere ex-member ClipperNationRules feels avenged. - Barkley is wrong...AGAIN. - Connaughton was hunted on defense but he threw back with timely treys and rebounding. - Middleton has to be the calmest even-keeled winner ever and more likeable than that Leonard guy. - Deer District > Jurassic Park.
boy does it feel nice knowing cp3 will never win a ring what a performance by giannis. he put the team on his back and carried them to a ring. although, they should be happy kyrie got hurt because there's no way they would've beat a healthy nets team
seeing a lot of "giannis did it without a superteam" takes tonight his performance in game 6 was incredible for sure. he wanted his ring and made damn sure he got it. but people are acting like middleton and holiday were just passengers bucks aren't a superteam but it's not like giannis carried the team all season like lebron in 07. middleton is one of the best shooters and two way players in the game, and holiday is the best defensive PG in the league

Congrats to Cap's old team and it's mind-blowing because both rings are exactly half a century apart. Dang!!!
What a pleasure to see CP3, Crowder and James Haren as losers of the night . Bucks were the only decent option after we got eliminated . Good to see guys like Giannis , Jrue , Middleton and Brook winning it all .
you're seeing it because it's true? as you said, the bucks aren't a super team. they have one superstar and two third bananas. if middleton or holiday was your headliner, you're in the cellar.
Good for the Bucks, they deserved it. Giannis played like a man possessed and won without being on a superteam. Had some solid players with him to help, but nothing that extraordinary. On the other hand, this is going to hurt CP3's legacy.
His speech at his wife's funeral already made him a legend in life. The guy is truly an amazing human being.
they're not a super team, but people are making it seem like its giannis and a bunch of average/below average guys when its one superstar and two all-star caliber players the only super team in today's NBA is the nets
I don't think the people saying "Giannis did it without a superteam" are trying to crap on Middleton and Holiday. But neither are stars. A superteam is 3 superstars. So people are right to point out Giannis did it without a superteam. Lebron's run in 07 was more a result of the East being historically bad. And if we're being honest, it's sort of what allowed Giannis to do what he did. All the stars got hurt.
right. i'd go further and argue that neither middleton nor holiday would qualify as a second superstar, much less three. that doesn't mean i don't like either player. i was really hoping we'd find a way to get holiday here before the bucks got him, and i've liked middleton for a while. but i used that exact team as an example in the "third star" thread: you need three when your #2 is middleton or holiday (or cj mccollum, which is why dame is fussing right now). so the bucks aren't even a two-superstar team like most title teams from the past, imo. lebron's cavs, the 2004 pistons, and dirk's mavs are anomalies. i think giannis's bucks are like that, though i would grant that middleton and holiday are probably better than say, jason terry and old jason kidd.
