or maybe start schroder and assign him wiggins. lebron to gp2. i think the wiggins post up that worked ok for them last game will be more affected than standing threes. but we'll find out pretty quick is my guess.
Yea. ZERO of what PHI did in the 4th Q made any sense to me. When they could have closed out the Bags. They jacked up 3s from the corner and were bricks, one 'n done, them Tatum killed them. But as soon as they feel down, like 3 points...they showed "defeated" body language. That 4th Q made no sense to me.
I don't think what either team was doing made sense. The tatum shots were awful: even worse than Lebron heat checks. No attempt to get Embiid out of the paint. Just jacking prayer 3's
I kid you not: I woke up in the middle of the night to pee and suddenly I have a waking nightmare of Klay hitting 9 3s in Game 6. Glad (most) my dreams are almost always non-prophetic and just surrealist weirdo crap.
Glad someone else saw what I saw. Tatum, having one of the worst shooting games by a superstar in the playoffs, ever, suddenly becomes a Kobe-like assassin. I always want the Bags to lose, and when he jacked up that first 3 from the corner, with Embiid out on him, I thought, good...oh wow he hit that. Then again, on Maxey. Then again, on Maxey. Repeat. Meanwhile, after PHI shoots a one 'n done, they didn't seem interested in getting back on D, as if the game had suddenly turned into a Summer League thing. That was a WEIRD 4th Q, to say the least.
In the best case for the Warriors and the worst for us, Wiggins will tough it out, but won't be able to score/shoot much at all. And since he does score a nice chunk of points against us typically, Poole will have to step up for them. LOL.
man i'm worried about tonight. just get the feeling someone like klay or poole will catch fire and win them the game
The Pacers already offered the guy a max contract. Perhaps they see something in him. A change of scenery works wonders for some guys. Dude said that he didn't speak to Williams all off season, that marriage is over.
Schroder plus minus has been better than DLo, D Lo seems to struggle vs glove Jr. I doubt ham starts Schroder but it could be better for the team.
And GS fans who started to follow NBA during 73-9 season already talking about referee and FT difference Stephen Curry is currently averaging 2.2 FTAs per game (11 total FTA's in 5 games) against the Lakers. This would be good for 6th place on the Lakers team. First lets take a look at the raw data in the most basic form, Free Throw Attempts vs. two-point Field Goal attempts (Lakers, Warriors) AD- 29 FTA's on 72 two-point FGA's Lebron- 21 FTA's on 59 two-point FGA's Schroder- 18 FTA's on 27 two-point FGA's Reaves- 13 FTA's on 29 two-point FGA's Vanderbilt- 12 FTA's on 11 two-point FGA's Curry- 11 FTA's on 58 two-point FGA's
Game 6 Klay? That is my concern. Attack Wiggins and Dray and get them in foul trouble then hunt Steph
Stick a flaming dagger into the heart of their dying dynasty, kill it off once and for all. Meet the new boss, same as the one that's won 17 titles.
that was then. they seemed like they wanted to move on from turner then. then they used that space to re-up turner at a team-friendly rate. i just don't see it. they wanted ayton for free, which would have allowed them to move turner for assets to shore up other areas. i guess your argument is they value ayton over turner, but i doubt that, tbh. they just thought turner was going to walk in FA (and he was, imo, if he got there), but they solved the problem.
