same. i actually think he can be guarded. he's not a great finisher at the rim, and he doesn't have incredible blow-by speed against larger defenders. we saw vando give him a lot of issues in our last matchup, imo. yeah, sometimes he'll go nova, but there are teams with the personnel to play him. i think kd (and before him, paul) really allows him to see better looks than he would as the main guy.

Steph does this constantly, for Kerr to whine about flopping is hilarious

    Ok.Here is some history:rock:
Last time when Lakers played GS in playoffs in 1991, they eliminated them in 5 games 4-1
Lakers are 27-12 vs. Warriors in Playoffs. It has nothing to do with Lebron playing in Miami or Cleveland vs GS in finals.

Let's keep it close first half, we have shown them we can go on runs too and actually beaten them already on their Court.

Hopefully Ham or somebody has found an adjustment for their PnR

They will come out guns blazing, we have to weather the storm and then, finish them off. Game 6 will be tough as hell, players will have full undies, Steph might go off at any time and we have a disaster. Rip their hearts out tonight!

Legacy game. Could be the end of Steph, Dray, Klay…. Bron can separate himself from Steph. He had already, really, but if Steph got to 5….beating Bron 4 times along the way…

I think Bron would love love love to end Steph’s Ws dynasty.

If we somehow find a win, then fantastic. But if it's a loss...the most important thing is to keep AD & LeBron under 38 min, preferably far lower. Because if they play close to 30 min, we're gonna win Game 6. But if they play 40 min+, now you've jeopardized G6 and the entire series. Don't fall for the trap.

You can still give yourself a chance to win tonight but limit Bron & AD's minutes. Play them each 9-10 min per quarter, and by halftime they're at 19 min and by the end of the 3rd quarter they're at 28 min. Still gives you a chance to win but hold them to 38 min. But if Ham plays them 22 min in the 1st half and 33 min in 3rd quarter...that's potentially a recipe for a 42-45 min disaster that I don't want to see.

I'm not one to usually complain about the refs, as I think they are generally bad but usually don't favor a specific team.

but thought tonight was the most crooked reffing I've seen in these playoffs so far. We were literally being chopped in the paint at almost every possession and couldn't get a call.

That was one of the worst reffed games I’ve ever seen. They allowed the Warriors to do WHATEVER they wanted, they allowed Green to wreak havoc, and they let the game get too physical and now AD is out and if he’s concussed he’s not gonna play again this series .

Ham should have pulled AD and Bron early. The refs allowed them to be too physical, and see what happens.

That 5-second call on Lebron at the start set the tone for the dubs. I think it was a signal from the rEFFING crew to the dubs that they get can away with everything this game.

Scheduled loss. Aaron Larsuel has a phrase he goes to in this scenario, "you can't fake desperate." We're simply not matching that energy in their house. It was over mid way through the 3rd.

Series ends Friday. Hopefully Jack is there, he's brought us good luck the two games he's shown up to this series.

This was the Draymond Green game. He's not getting that much rope at Crypto. They're not going to give him a T, but they'll at least hit him with the foul call.

The officiating was crap, and I do get the frustration since it’s a rule that never gets called so the choice to call it here did seem strange…

But honestly there have been several plays this series with Lebron that made me think about that rule. Where he probably deserved to get called for the violation even more than the play tonight.

Frankly, if Lebron feels the need to back down his defender for 5+ seconds … that’s not shaping up to be a good play. So hopefully finally getting called for this violation makes him realize that in those scenarios he needs to either be more decisive, or move the ball along.

My general feeling always has been refs are told to favor the home team, and try to extend series.

I don’t buy for a second that refs get caught up in the energy of the crowd. They can see someone get hacked on the road team just as easily as the home team. The pretense that they’re actually only calling what they see is WWE level performance IMO. See Tatum hacking LeBron on that layup in the C Bags game earlier in the season as a clear example. The commentators know this as well IMO, but it would only turn away fans to acknowledge how much refs rig games, and no network would want that.

That said, I think refs try to put their thumb on the scales, but never TRY to outright rig a series. It’s just hard sometimes to know when the visuals of your calls look too obviously biased, and so some games look like it did tonight.

But we get home cooking too. We’ll probably get some next game although the refs will have to try hard to equal the crap they pulled tonight lol
