Based on a lifetime of watching one team blow out the other in the playoffs: it's gonna be a rough Game 4. That said, MEM came back to cut it to what? 9? at one point. So maybe the Principle of one team annihilating another usually means the annihilated team wins the next game was lessened by the Lakers just losing focus and letting MEM back in. But I have to say, I wanted the 35-9 first Q to be replicated the other 3 quarters, meaning it would've been 70-18 at half and 140-36 at the end of the game. If that had happened, I think MEM might've been the first team in history to declare "No mas!, and forfeit the rest of the series. Dillon Brooks is now Draymond Lite.

Dominated pretty much the whole game. Memphis went on runs which is expected but spent the majority of the game down double digits. I was very pleased with us last night. We came out on fire and put the game out of reach. On to game 4 which will be a tough but we need to handle business again.
What a masterclass in how to defensively put your foot down on the throat of your opponent in that first quarter. This series is over if they play with that kind of fire again.

Lol, Brooks already got ejected earlier in the season for nut-shotting D-Mitch...and got suspended an additional game. He does it again now in the playoffs, and crickets? Guess you gotta start a fight afterwards for the league to care. I don't care basketball-wise though, the Grizz suck with him when the Lakers are motivated, as the first quarter last night showed. The whole series, really. He's shooting 33%/25%/60%, poor other stats, and little D.
Harden didn't get a suspension a night earlier for the same, so I knew Brooks wouldn't get one either. You can argue he has a rep, like Dray, but he didn't engage with the fans afterwards and didn't do it directly in Silver's face. I'm glad he's playing. His villain complex had him chucking some bad shots. Let him play and shoot them right out of the next game.
