It will be 2-2 after GS wins at home. Then pressure amps up. Fox I trust. Monk and Barnes I don’t. Likely going 7.

Make sure you go physical when contesting his shot.

if he takes it in the paint, you're hacking down hard on that ball. if the dominant hand happens to be on it...

sorry, no pity. i watched teams target kobe's hand to everyone's delight on several occasions. if you're scared get some more guns, ja.

Yeah, I might try to reach and steal the ball and accidentally whap that hand once or twice. Be ashame if he had to fall back and cushion his landing with both hands too.

Either way, we made him work very hard for his shots. If nothing else changes, we're playing him well so far.

Starting to remind me of the Willis Reed debacle. He is going to play and if we are NOT straight in our heads, we could let this BS take us down.

I know it's the Clippers, but nothing would please me more than seeing Booker, CP and KD getting booted out of the playoffs in the first round.

KD, the softest HoF, in the same sense Brick is the dumbest one.

I can’t root for either of these teams, I’m just watching enjoying when Russ gets blocked or Paul does something bad, or Booker looks all red and upset. But yeah if I had to pick one outcome I prefer it’s the Suns losing in round one. To have sent all those assets out for Durant to go home in round one would be too good. That said, I don’t see it, Clippers always gonna Clip. In other news

I much prefer the Suns to go through. Because not only f*** the Clips, but also I think we have much better depth than the Suns and we match up much better with them if we were to face them eventually.

Grizzlies -> Kings -> Suns/Denver seems a pretty doable path to the finals

Honestly both these teams don't look all that good.
Kawhii is great but if his jumper ain't going, he's a bit of one trick pony on offense (it's an awesome trick though lol)
Russ will do Russ things: the Suns announcers were like a great game and then he promptly had two of the dumbest TO's you'll see and gave any shot the Clips had away.

Phoenix offense seems to 1v1 alternating between Booker and Durant mixed in with some PnR with Paul and Ayton. Didn't look all that impressive too be honest. Suns used to be able to attack you from all over the court now it seems like a wanna be GS offense.

I still think the Suns win the series unless PG comes back, if he does the Clippers can win it, but I don’t see how a team with Durant, Paul, Booker, Ayton, and some guys off the street can lose a first round series. Later on as the old dudes start to wear down, yeah, but not as they are fresh right now. More news

I’m not impressed by either team. Without George, if you double Robotic Cornrows, you force Brick and Gordon to beat you with jumpers. Gordon is good, the other dude…
As for the Suns, their bench is non existent. AD will destroy Ayton. We have a great enough defense to bother both Booker and Slim Softie. They have nobody to bother Austin, DLo or LeBron.
Again, the only team I fear out West is the Dubbs.

No matter which team wins, I just hope their brilliant coaches continue to play their stars as many minutes as they have been so far. All of Kawhi, KD, Booker and Paul have a history of injuries, let's see if they can make it to the WCF healthy. Cuz an injury to either of them will be huge for those teams.

If we make it there, I hope we face either team with their “stars” intact. I don’t want there to be any excuses. If these injury prone guys do make it, they will be so worn out- especially the Suns because of their weak bench.

BS ruling with Sabonis CLEARLY having caused the whole sequence and Green’s balance to literally start off by landing on his chest while extricating himself and then came the light out of annoyance hit with the bottom of his foot. “Stomp”? :D

Penalize him a game for it is just bull s***!

Yes just to be clear - I am not wishing an injury on anybody (well maybe except for guys like CP, just because this bum is actively trying to injure other players). There will be injuries though and I'm not going to cry over them. If they make it healthy but are worn out, all the better.

I couldn't care less about excuses and "asterisks". It's the Lakers we're rooting for, if they win there will be outrage and excuses for other teams either way. Remember the bubble, where the Lakers practically lost their homecourt advantage throughout, and it somehow still was unfair to other teams? Other team's fanbases and "experts" especially may cry all they want, as long as its my team on top at the end.

    I hear ya man.
Any Bubble argument that has tried to add an asterisk to that Championship has been weak at best.
Every team there had the same amount of rest beforehand and every team who participated played hard. Players who actually played in the Bubble stated that it was MUCH harder psychologically than any previous playoff run due to all of the strange circumstances.
