I think you need to resolve that anger inside you, man. Life is pretty outside. Ask for help if you need

everyone knew the nuggets weren't going to keep making every 3 they attempted in the finals like they did in WCF

MPJ, brown, and KCP were always going to come back down to earth. the key to winning a title for them was always going to be jokic and murray, and both balled out like they had to

I will stop, but I didn't start it!

Also, I thought I had responded to PurpleAndGold88 not to Adkobe??? Hmmmm, I removed my comment. I did not like the Boebert comment. Thought it was uncalled for and went back and looked at my comment and it appeared to responding to a different post. I must have screwed that up. Oh well. It is gone now, just wanted you to know what I did and why.

I wonder if Jokic is the first big star to ever miss the championship parade.

also, I wonder if something serious is going on at home, besides daily NWO stuff haha

Yikes, after reading a lot of his comments about wanting to go home and not liking his job, I wonder after getting a chip, would he be motivated to win more? This is why having a dynasty is so difficult.

I think you are reading too much into it.

i think he loves playing basketball and competing, and he hates all the rest of it. he reminds me a little of tim duncan in this way.

my only concern would be that it sounds like he has to do a lot just to get into the physical condition he's in now, and it sounds like he finds that to be pretty annoying, too. i could totally see him just bailing and playing in europe after his big contract ends.

anyway, my guess is he'll be back mostly as himself (again, conditioning may happen more in-season as his career progresses). but the difficulty with dynasties is not only does he have to stay motivated, he has to stay healthy. and so do all the principal players. jordan and pippen played all the bulls playoff games, iirc. kobe and shaq, too. for years on end. it's rare.

I see it as a slap in the face of every nuggets fans and Nuggets FO, he is basically saying I hate this and I am done so I can go home . Imagine if Kobe pulled a stunt like that! I doubt anyone will give him a pass .

I apologize if I offended anyone by making fun of some HS drop out loser who gives her 10 yr old kids a rifle for Christmas! A woman who grabs the phone from his child while he is trying to call 911 because daddy is beating him up and she says everything is fine .. my mistake .

Nah, basketball doesn't consume him and would rather be with his horses in Sombor...

Yeah, Jokic does not have an obsession to the sport. To him, it is not that big of a deal. Get it done then get out.

    Denver center
Nikola Jokic's participation in the upcoming World Cup is in doubt, according to The Athletic.

Serbian big man is going to attend a family holiday, which is scheduled for the period from August 25 to September 10.

During the final series of the playoffs, Jokic did not answer questions from journalists regarding his participation in the 2023 World Cup.

Jokic became the NBA Finals Series MVP, in which the Nuggets defeated the Heat 4-1 to win the club's first championship title. The Serbian became the first player in league history to lead the playoffs in points, rebounds and assists.
