Sweet, LeBron's not gonna get the MVP. It's gotta be Westbrook, come on.

Seeing the replay right now. The special effects on the floor are really cool, as they were last night too.

Westbrook was completely on fire. 16 of 29. 41 points - most since Wilt back in '62? Wow. Most combined points for both teams ever. Most points in a half by Westbrook. Lots of records broken, beautiful razzle dazzle stuff from Curry . . . fun night.

Loved the three point contest. Curry is a monster! Zach Lavine made those dunks look completely effortless. Insane athleticism. Oladipo's first dunk was also off the hook, but as other said he really took a nose dive after that.

Hate to say it but Harden had a great game... good thing Russ won though. His head hit the backboard on that alley oop dunk, crazy

I gotta say LaVine is right up there in terms of dunking @abeer3 .

I thought MJ was good. Nique was right with him. Dr. J was a pioneer. Carter was the natural.

LaVine could compete with them though. He made every one of those dunks look easy. Straight up easy. Between the legs no problem. His behind the back was really more like under his butt. Just incredible.

Oh and that Grande girl looks like she's 14, but is very pretty and has a great voice. Some of these pop stars can't actually sing, but she's good.

The game just wasn't the same without Kobe. To that effect, it hasn't been interesting to me in last 2 years. I didn't even watch the 1st half.

Dude missed 4-5 easy layups. Should have been close to 50. That's insane!

For it to be such a high scoring game, it was very dull. There were two things to watch: How many shots Westbrook was going to get up and what Bron was going to do (who I hate). Outside of those two there wasn't much excitement. It was fun seeing the Gasol brothers but that lost its luster in the 1st Q. I was hoping Korver would set the 3 point record in the game, didn't happen. Klay was AWFUL. Was hoping for more out of Lillard. And I wonder how Knicks fans feel about Melo logging 30 minutes when he's shutting it down for the year.

I was hoping for more minutes for Korver. He could have easily broken that record if he got more minutes.

Also, there was this awesome moment:

OK I only flipped on the game a couple times but all I heard was the announcers waxing poetic about Bron A) Showing the East he means business by coming out being super aggressive at the start, B) Pushing to get that MVP by leading the East (even when the East was down like 9 points in 4th) and C) him putting on a show for the fans trying to get the MVP. Then they talked about Westbrook gunning for that MVP too.

The odd thing for me was that wasn't it frowned upon to have a player "gunning" for the MVP? Every time I clicked on all I heard was how great it was that these guys care about the MVP so much. Since I didn't watch the whole game im just curious was it really as bad as it seemed to me (the announcers I mean)? Also was it obvious that certain players were gunning for it?

Maybe it's my bias, but it seemed obvious that LeBron was gunning for MVP from the first play. Westbrook just got hot and kept shooting and the points piled up. I didn't notice too many others gunning for anything, it was all in the flow of the game. Harden was on fire too, but he wasn't gunning, just playing his game, Curry was dishing some sweet alley oops, he and Irving showing some sick handles as well. But really, who cares, it's an exhibition, these are the best players in the league, if they want some fun bragging rights and a meaningless trophy it's all in fun to me.

I get that little D was played so you could say it was dull, and the big men almost get completely lost in this type of game as well. Duncan, Dirk, and the Gasols have really no flash to bring to a game like this and they were kinda just there to rebound as these younger dudes and their game has passed them by. In the end it was a close game though and somewhat competitive, I thought it was pretty fun. It was a shame Kobe and Anthony Davis couldn't play though.

^^ My feelings almost exactly, Weezy. There's rarely any D played so I didn't mind the high score much. Maybe they were overdoing the three point shooting but like Weezy said, Westbrook and Harden were both on fire. Even Aldridge got hot from distance. Cousins played well. Curry had some insane dishes (Curry dishes!). I thought it was pretty enjoyable as a viewer with no horses in the race (Kobe out). I liked seeing Pau and Marc out there, too, and Pau had some nice plays. Between an exciting three point contest (Curry!), stellar dunks from LaVine, an entertaining, fast paced ASG, plus the absences of Wade, Griffin and Dwight (three guys I don't like watching) - I had fun.
