So the rumor mill has it that Trezz was promised a starting Center spot according to the Locked on Lakers guys...
wuuuuttttt? minutes wise that makes sense, but the young man is going to have to play some D in order to keep it
Not sure if the starting role fits Trezz. I'd love to see him off the bench giving Bron some nice rest but if it's true, I hope Frank gets him up to speed on DEFENSE. If Draymond can win DPOY, Trezz being the same size should be able to be a much better defender than he is right now with all that dog in him. He's never going to be able to guard guys like Embiid or Jokic but if he can guard the rest of the centers, AD will handle the rest.
Reports were several of the Clippers weren't OK with the preferential treatment PG and Kawhi got from Doc and management. Kawhi lives so far away that he'd not make it to practice or the plane would be waiting on him to leave. Their load management b*******. PG pointing the finger. Neither of them taking any accountability for them coming up short. Difference with us is that Vogel holds everyone accountable and our guys set the tone and example, which makes it easy for the rest of the team to follow their lead and fall in line. Clipps duo has shown a sense of entitlement without doing any of the winning that warrants that.
Yeah I think the living in SD would have been the final straw. No matter where you work folks understand there is going to be a pecking order in human social group. But man hearing things where you're allowed to be late because of living in SD would have pissed me off. I mean I live in LA and it's crazy you can't buy yourself some crazy swanky mansion at least within an hour of a drive to LAX
Yep that's absurd. It's not like load manager couldn't rent an apartment in Marina Del Rey or something. I don't blame some of Flop City's players being upset about that.
Another reason why Bron is the best on/off the court. You will never hear teammates trash him like that.
Aight, Lakers Ball needs to start our own podcast so we can make up rumors for clout Pretty sure the Locked on Lakers guys don’t have any real sources. I could see Harrell starting. Offensively, he’s almost a beefed up version of the lob threat that Javale was. But I think it makes more sense to start with Gasol. Harrell would still be getting significantly more playtime though.
Or when they do like Kyrie they end up apologizing once they have to lead themselves. This is in response to Bangboompow’s post on Lebron not ever being trashed by teammates. Very true except for headcase Kyrie and then he walked it back later.
Oh he’s going to make them pay so hard , I imagine he’s going to play 200mph when we face the Tenants.
I feel like he could’ve fit a backhand slap in there pretty easily, but he declined. solid player, hard worker, and class act. Might be emoji worthy...
It’s genuinely refreshing to hear reports of the FO and coach on the same page making moves happen. Yes I’m sure in many if not most cases a GM and coach work like this, but Rob and Vogel (and probably LeBron) seem to have a shared vision for the team’s identity and players Vogel thinks he can get a lot out of. Regarding Harrell, I’ll admit I haven’t been a fan since he’s been in the NBA, but I don’t mean of his game, it’s because he started with Houston and then the Clippers, 2 of my most disliked franchises. I loved his game in college, he was incredibly fun to watch.
