i think his usage was fine during the regular season. it was in the playoffs where he became unplayable due to his poor defense and you had the whole drummond thing too

his better offensive numbers in WAS are probably just him being in a system that better suits his skill set

we started randomly sitting him before that and played him five fewer minutes per game than lac or was did/does.

we played him in game 1 against phx, and he did fine:

he had a bad game 6 like the entire team did.

starting around february, we jerked his minutes around for no reason/drummond.

we really squandered a good FA pickup there, imo.

Lebron gutted pretty much all rosters he had since the big 3. It's his MO. He decided Russ. He decided Melo. And he asked for shooters.

I'm pretty sure Lebron's voice is more important than Vogel's in assembling the roster

He is a very good offensive player who eats up minutes at C and gives a lot of production in the regular season. Dude is not reliable in postseason.

i know that's the book on him. i'm just not convinced. but whatever, dude's worth a few wins a year (and playoff positioning) regardless.

i don't know. i like trez. i like his approach and attitude, and i think these things matter and are infectious. i actually really liked last year's team, in theory. we never really got to see it.

Harrell/Schroder P & R had great potential but we didn't see it at all. They ran that thing quite well in preseason and in the opening games

i wouldn't be surprised if he's gone by the deadline

they just got hachimura back and bryant is expected to come back any day now. plus they already have gafford who trez has been splitting time with. his playing time and production has also dropped quite a bit since the first couple months of the season

Maybe it’s not multiple teams’ faults he never reaches his seeming full potential?

hmmm....i'd argue that trez has reached his full potential and that teams keep expecting him to suddenly grow or become more coordinated or something.

and he's obviously a hothead, but every team that's had him has known that prior to acquiring him. tbh, i thought he'd blow up when we started randomly benching him for what was really no good reason (drummond??!!). but he didn't.

for all the complaints about trez, he's a plus player on both ends everywhere he goes.

he's one of if not the best backup utility bigs in the league and has been for a few years. and he gets paid the MLE.

we treated him poorly, imo, and the clippers didn't value him properly (ibaka has not been the upgrade they anticipated).
