Anunoby should have been suspended at least a game. Trent should have been ejected. Get a T for pushing back Trez, but then he also started shoving Schroder for no reason lol.
Not much better tonight. Needs Bron and Ad to draw doubles and get him looks. Loved the reverse oop from Caruso. And the quick blow by lay up. still wish he would focus on D. With that length and athleticism he should be a Draymond or Tucker like elite defender.
i wouldn't call trez athletic at all, tbh. he doesn't move very well laterally (like green and tucker). almost night and day, actually. i'm just glad he boxes out and takes charges in the paint. could be worse on that end. and yes, that blow-by was an important bucket, imo, as it got zeller guessing. he was being hyper aggressive on the guards to positive effect for a stint there. harrell noticed it and used it against him, pretty much ending the strategy.
Limited offensive arsenal. If you pack the paint, you can really neutralize certain players with a game plan. That's what happened in the playoffs when teams have time to scheme a little. Limited players ride the pine a little more.
charlotte wasn't even running at our shooters in the first half. it was pretty embarrassing, tbh. like, just turning their back like it's an eighth grade b-squad game.
He had a mini slump before the Boston game. But with back to back solid outings, looks to be back on track in terms of energy, effort, and production. His best move of the afternoon .
He has the heart of a lion, you can put his heart in much more talented players, they could be all time greats
Playoffs are all about being tough minded and having the right demeanor and attitude. Montrezz is going through some difficulty right now being benched in favor of guys like AD2 and Marc. His turn will come until then he's just gotta stay engaged and plugged in mentally.
It was just one game. Report said Vogel explained and he had no problem with it. Nothing to see here.
All 3 should play, because we'll probably need all 3 in the playoffs. And god forbid, if someone goes down (again)...
why doesn't drummond have to sit, too? what has he proven that the other two haven't? still annoyed by this situation. drummond should have shown up and got in where he fit in.
Marc signed a 2 year deal. Trez prefers to come off the bench. We are still trying to get Drumm caught up on chemistry and conditioning, as well as trying to convince him to stick around after this season. Gotta bend a little when factoting in all that.
Trez looked great after getting a game off, he clearly needed it. I believe they said on the LFR Pod that he was the only Laker to play every game this season, he definitely looked a little worn out. Tonight to close he was beasting.
