Mavs fans are loving him so far on twitter, seems to be easing their pain a little. He’s playing very well, rooting for him, maybe he’ll even find his way back here someday.

again, feel bad for klay he didn't sign on for luka to be moved. but he continues to be all class, just like AD.

max fits in this way, too, imo.

Isn't there some fraternity? Shouldn't all NBA sons be aware of other NBA sons? Come on Klay...gotta work on your wiki skills.

Yeah, 19, 5 & 5 for Max. Can we still rescind the trade? Trade rescinded, player at undisclosed levels of fat.

He has the opportunity to show more of his offensive arsenal : midrange , eurostep and floater on the break ..

    Way to hoop !

pj washington was also out for dallas. wow. but the heat were missing adebayo, and if you look at their current roster minus him, it's also...not formidable. so mad we lost to those guys by a zillion earlier this year. what an embarrassment.

anyway...be curious to hear about how great max is now that he's not a laker. swear everyone talked about what an anchor he was in trade talks and how rob overpaid and such. false. starting quality guard on an insane discount for the next couple years.

as it stands, if everyone still wants the mavs to have traded luka for 10 first rounders or whatever, pretty sure AD and max would get you there.

^^^ this exactly. I said it a couple times pushing back against career capping that he had shown many glimpses of being capable of mid range and getting better at handling the ball and to watch what happens if Kidd takes the “governor” off what he can start working on offensively in games (that logically couldn’t happen here and now). He’s a really smooth and coordinated athlete with a wonderful body to build on strength wise for a basketball player and no doubt in my mind will be an all star “performing” player soon (votes be damned) and a Beast in his prime. Much MOAR than pigeon-holing him even as just a great 3 and D player. Especially with the hops he has and elevation on his J.

from a good friend of mine, MAVS fans LOVE Max. They aren't giving him up for nothing. He's easing the pain of the Lufa loss. Too bad the rest of their roster is ambulatory, or they may have made a great run this year in the playoffs.
