I wonder if this played a role in LeBron leaving. He probably saw that all these pieces were going to be let go and didn't like the plan. Luka is being consulted on these moves so we also have to keep that in mind. It would be difficult to believe that the front office isn't consulting Luka on all these moves. If Luka wanted Smart/Kennard, they would be on the team - especially at these prices. While I want to blame Rob here, if this is also Luka's idea, then we gotta wait and see how it unfolds.
Yeah like Bron's track record as a GM is good... Bron left because he didn't like being 3rd fiddle and not having control over the franchise. It has nothing to do with basketball, much less when he is supposed to be joining the Warriors.
