Anyway, tremendous job by Pelilnka, once again. Exactly the center we need. Playmaker, stretches the floor with his 3-pt shooting. 7-8 PPG is all you need from him - a three and some easy putbacks. Still a good defender against true big centers. IQ off the charts. History... we had his draft rights, so in a way he's "back". Wish we could hire Pau in some capacity, this would be beyond awesome. And no, Pau can't play anymore. He's 40 guys, he's not even a backup or insurance. He could be another Duds if you want him here, but why? He looks great in a suit, his skill /knowledge of the game is off the charts to coach younger players.

That looks like a development coach to me :

Wow what an off-season we’re having after losing key contribution like Rondo, Dwight, and Bradley. However, you can make an argument we’ve upgraded those positions with Marc, Schroder, Matthews, and Harrell.

Career comes full circle. He was part of the Kwame trade that netted us Pau and 2 rings. Time for this guy to wear one of his own from the team that drafted him. Welcome home Marc.

Let's be realistic. While that was just 1 game, Dwight/McGee can't do any of that.

Improved at every single position. Perfect fit for what we needed. His IQ, man D, and passing additions are going to be huge for us.

 HA!! Sounds like @s.meat's sort of time frame to call it finally.

Hey speaking of him did I miss him formally declaring he was quitting us because we didn't get his kids love over Anthony Davis, or him getting the boot for something? Just tried to "@" his tag here and nothing came up. :KobeConfused:

I keep reading how he was really bad in the bubble playoffs this year. I didn’t watch this series. Does anyone know why he struggled so bad?

Gasol will be instrumental when the game slows down. He can facilitate from the 5 spot. Far more reliable perimeter game than either Howard or McGee. Will stretch the defense being a threat at the three point line.

Have reservations on his mobility unless he loses a ton of weight showing on the pick and roll or changing ends. That part will be missed with the other two gone.

He struggled offensively because his shot was not falling. Simple as that. The ball just did not want to go in. Toronto fans were generally satisfied with his defensive performance, and all his defensive statistics for last year show that he's not just good defensively, he's elite.
