He was my favorite player last season. Happy for him... and Kings fans. Let them have some fun and joy
Good call. Seems like that part of it went as expected then, with GSW locking down Huerter to 3-12 and 0-5 from 3, but then Monk and Lyles going off. I suspect they'll make adjustments and that won't happen the next game, but we'll see. Monk had an awesome game, but we know from his history that he's not gonna keep doing that. He's only had 2 or 3 games scoring that much or more all season. He would do that occasionally back on the Lakers, with some 30-40 pt scoring games here and there, but was overall somewhat inconsistent, usually in the teens, sometimes 20's. I think there's a good chance that was Sac's best game, and that GSW still wins in 6. Although I agree with others that wouldn't be good for Lakers. Sac has a good offense, but they're still not proven in the postseason, and Lakers would have a better chance of getting by them than getting by GSW. A Warriors team that gets by Sac and is getting back into defending championship form would terrify me. All that being said - I hope Monk does indeed continue going off, that Sac knocks off GSW, and then Lakers knock off both Memphis and Sac! So Go Monk Go!
What a performance from the kid! Another former Laker, Josh Hart was huge for the Knicks yesterday and was great on both ends of the floor. I always liked him because of his great defense and rebounding.
was telling my dad before the series: kings will get game 1, lose three straight, get game 5, and go out in 6.
lol, that shot was sorta terrible. i'd be so mad if we lost because someone made that. i had more confidence steph's was going to fall.
Yeah, he was feeling it at that point especially after this one with 40 seconds-ish left Cause that was a wild, out of control winning bucket.
yeah, that play before was just a nice clutch shot--up fake, side step, drill it. that game winner was an abomination! technically, he missed a 12 foot shot by 3 ft (do not tell me he meant to bank it).
nothing to cry about, we literally didn't have the money to sign him. i suppose what you can cry about is that after monk and schroder being huge vet min hits two years in a row, our vet mins this year have basically been terrible.
I just remember MJ trying to smack him on top of the head on the side of the court for some (I guess) brain fart that pissed Mike off … and Malik with his back turned and being animated reacting to something in front of him, dipping down by sheer luck and Mike’s head slap going right over the top. But Mike really wanting to let Malik know he was a jerk off (I guess) … waited for him to come back up and THEN caught him with the head slap.
He got a tech there for celebrating as a bench warmer so MJ slapped him We gave him a chance and he took advantage of the time given to him here, sadly we didn’t have any means to retain him
