He'll be better when guys can't focus in as much. Our only playmakers are Reaves and Schroder, two guys that we'll regularly have off the bench.

Malik is Leastly on nights like tonight; other games he's Beastley. I think he's got a "mind" problem: when he's in rhythm and just ballin' his stroke from 3 looks like a cousin to a Splash Brother. But then he over-thinks and will airball it. This is a "Need More Zen" thing with him.

"Hurry the eff up and get your zen on, Malik!" <----That ain't gonna help him. He needs to believe he's unstoppable from 3 and keep shooting. What was it? 10 days ago he apologized to Ham for missing some 3s? Darvin said, "Keep shootin', man!" I really wonder if Malik believes it.

Shooters have to keep on shooting. He'll hit big ones coming up I have no doubt.

i cant label him as "good" from performance stand pt, maybd consistently good due to spacing he provides the team with his presence but when not hitting shots he really isnt good at anything, def is weak, ok finisher but no mid range, so either difficult drive attempt in the paint or bricking large volume 3s

point is on the whole he has more good shooting nights than bad ones. if he had only good shooting nights, he wouldn't have been available at any price.

i think he's worth his contract simply due to the attention he demands.

hes a duncan Robinson/joe harris type to me when not hitting shots, Pho is getting similar out of T. Ross, if he could be had this off-season at mle type $ id go that route over picking up Beasley 16m salary

    no.

    1. we're unlikely to have full mle.
    2. ross is 6 years older and due to fall off a cliff--something we're overly familiar with here (and something i'd never hear the end of from some particular people here...)

i'll pay the 5 million extra for the younger version and the ability to use my exception elsewhere, thank you.

Beasley will definitely benefit from having DLO back (and eventually LeBron as well).

Right. Because, as I have been preaching all this time, our brain-dead Bacon of a coach can't grasp that shooters need shots created for them.

Malik got 0 plays run for him. In contrast, look at Pacers ...

I think Beasley as something to do with Reaves/Schroder being able to score more. Defense just can't leave him which opens space to these guys

His shots have looked good but many are contested so I'm not to down on him missing. He will hit the ones he have to and defense will continue to compromise so he still makes an impact

Can catch and shoot when the ball hits him in his shooting pocket.
