Not gonna lie, after primarily hearing about him due to the scandal with Pippen’s wife, I just assumed he was going to be pretty immature but I was impressed hearing him in the press conference. Seems a lot more composed and mature/professional than I had anticipated

Darvin when Malik said he’s guarded mostly 4’s this season…

Does Darvin even care about defense anymore? With the old version of this team, his rotations sure didn’t show it.

He got really nice looks today, but just could not capitalize. He'll get there though, I know he will.

We are the team where 3pt shooting goes to die. Welcome Malik!

It was nice to pull out a win when one of our better 3 point shooters goes 0-6. Keep on shooting Malik.

The shots will fall eventually, but as pointed out here the threat matters a lot

We went from having guards that were either ignored, dared to shoot, or the D would run in the other direction to having two guys that draw multiple defenders and have the attention and respect of defense at all times.

yeah, most of his shots looked pretty good. only one bad miss and one force from three. the others were good, in rhythm and close to dropping. they'll drop enough to keep defenses honest. just night and day with him and dlo out there offensively. add in rui as another guy that can't be ignored after having so many minutes this year with one or both of russ and bev on the floor (often with schroder, whom teams also lay off a bit), and it just looks different out there.
