    We're going to have to get creative trying to trade Deng, options do open up during the season when a team realizes they should tank, someone like the Hawks maybe?

    Or start throwing picks at him basically today. It should have been us trading him to the Nets with 2 future 1sts and a 2nd or something like that. I'm not sure there's much hope next summer of moving him.

    This is extremely disappointing for any of us to see hoping he was getting in shape in Africa to have an impact this year. Apparently he's not playing at all, and barely has the energy to even help coach. SMH.

    I'd be very interested to see him play honestly, it's been a looooong time. If we want to have any chance at all of trading him before the deadline we need him to look like a worthwhile player, an actual contributer. If not, I don't know if we have the assets to trade him, and then we have to look to stretch him and that imo is a nightmare scenario. Paying this guy for years to not play for us. It's worse than paying 3 coaches at one time while only one was employed.

    I no longer actually have interest in watching him play. He sees the court if he earns it. Why take away time from developing players if you aren't winning anything, and you have a veteran who it appears is either no longer capable or interested in putting in the work to be an NBA player.

    Complete sham. He's not playing in Africa because he's still injured. Biggest WTF team FA signing ever.

    I'm sure he didn't rip his pec muscle by lifting weights. It had to be lifting the large stacks of money the Lakers are paying him. Have some freaking pride Deng and at least earn some of the money your getting paid.
