I was never on the bust train, but I didn't think he was gonna be the stud. I'm happily eating crow. Hopefully this carries over to next season.

Dude it was like a legit 40-50 pt swing when he went out? Also almost had a super sweet and one underhand lay up. Bareeely missed it.

I didnt think any player in this draft would be franchise player worthy. I think Ball might be the execption. And the fact that the C Bags had a chance to get him and pissed it away is gonna make this even more amazing. Especially if Lebron leaves to the Lakers next year and give the east to Boston and if the Lakers get to the finals, destroy the C Bags in the process.

If a Lonzo Ball-lead Laker squad ever beats the C Bags in the finals Dr Buss will rise again. One more time.

I was thinking the same thing before the draft... He would be a great fit over there and Thomas gonna get paid. I think him wanting to be a Laker played everything in why they passed.

No one enforces the fist part. Simply because it is extremely hard to distinguish between fist and open hand, which is allowed, as every tip of the ball is like that.

Stupid effing rule when jammed fingers are notorious.. You want your NBA players hurting their fingers/hand cause they can't deflect the ball with their fist? Weak and dumb af.

I think they're two potential franchise players in Ball and Fultz. A couple potential All Stars in Tatum, Jackson, and Smith Jr.

Very talented and deep draft for sure and when it's all said and done the Lakers may just have selected the best overall player.

I currently work the graveyard shift so I was sleeping during the game and missed it.

however, I love that I can flip on sportscenter at 9pm and see that lonzo and lakers are literally the first story. what other rookie garners that attention? and this is just the summer league! can anyone remember the last time a summer league got this much coverage? I sure can't.

not sure if this is real life but ill take it

Haven't been around but damn...Ball is ballin'.

He has been sensational. His shot and his D are a work in progress but those 90 feet pin point passes...haven't seen anybody with the same passing ability in this era. Not even Chris Paul can make those passes. We will have to see how his half court and P&R passing is once the regular season begins but in transition, damn....

Thank god we didn't trade down. A franchise player is worth more than 2 potential allstars.

Why the all eyes on "Me" title change? Did Lonzo say something in an interview or .....why. Just curious about the 1st person.

Anyone catch the comment by Pelinka during his in game interview? Something along the lines of praising Lonzo for his maturity and character "it's not just about players who have talent and like to make the flashy play, we're looking for players that have the intangibles." Another criticism of Dlo, no?

Last few years have been rough as a Lakers fan, but this kid has made it exciting to be a fan once again.

Cannot wait to see him play live in person this coming season.
