yeah, how many new situations does he get? He’s a fifth starter/glue guy type on a good team, IMO. Was always miscast as a star.
Yea I don’t think you are going to get much more out of him at this point. Interesting to see what his second contract nets him. > 10 million nope < 10 million I’m listening for a reunion He could run the second unit off the bench with much less pressure and expectations. That’s a solid role he could excel at, too bad the reality is he needs to be a lot more than that.
A. Highest profile franchise, that your dad personally manipulated your life in order for you to arrive there - as a starter. B. Young team, no expectations, ability to ball out. What else is left? Vet ring chaser? Last dude off the bench?
man, I was thinking 2.5 mil for 4 years = 10 mil. But I'm sure he has more value than that in the 40 games per year (or total?) he's likely to play though.
if he wants to come back at the MLE, we might have the right roster for him at that point. i think those are the offers he'll be fielding.
Someone will pay him. League is full of scrubs making absurd money. Lavar is a legend though. He fooled many, manyyyy people... including me
I think his best fit would be a team like the Rockets with Pringles as his best asset is outlet passes and pushing up the ball up the floor very quickly. But overall, it's hard to use a player who can't shoot the ball well, who can't shoot free throws, who can't finish at the rim, and who's afraid of contact and physicality.
New coach, new team, new city; a new situation can mean a lot of different things; he's talented, and I believe he's an NBA player, but his biggest obstacle right now is himself; and if he doesn't improve, he'll be playing overseas... FYI, I was arguing against most of the board at the time; I didn't want him at number 2. I thought he was overrated. He's young; we'll just have to wait & see...
check the records--i wanted to trade that pick so bad. didn't like him at #2. wanted sac's 5 and 10 to take the guys who actually ended up going 5 and 10, ironically. word was we tried to get that and sac told us to kick rocks. too bad. i don't think he's heading overseas, though. he's good enough to be a 25-30mpg nba player on a team that wins, imo. he just can't be one of your big talents, if that makes sense. like a shane battier type--not in style of play, but in impact. don't ask him to be things he's not; it will get ugly. literally.
That was fast, Gentry already getting criticized by you know who. I guess playing 40 minutes a game is what keeps you injury free, Kawhi should listen to this! https://lonzowire.usatoday.com/2019...m=fishburne&utm_content=recirc-manual-related
