    This made me laugh.

On topic, he needs to stay healthy; that's obvious. On top of that, put the work in to improve that jumper.

He was coming on before he got injured; let's hope we can get that Zo we saw before the injury this season for 75-82 games next season.

We're talking injuries not performance but go ahead and change the subject to suit your needs and compare him to the best perimeter shooter ever, nvm other aspects of his game and the fact that Magic shot worse from 3 than Zo has so far in the nba. Not to mention how much better the team is with him on the floor than without. Or the 129 mil Steph makes on those bad ankles over the next 3 years when he's 34. Zo makes what, 7 next season? Fair comparison and way to root for a 2-years-in-NBA, 21-year-old kid on your team who can improve still by leaps.

the narrative here is Zo is injury prone, doesn't shoot well from any where on the floor, whats there to dispute? Did I say he can't improve? What Curry injury history is or Magic 3pts % were, doesn't apply to Zo or his career. But If our team potential is based on a guy with those 2 FACTS going against him, than like said, I'd be scared/worried.

My point now is that if GSW fans and FO were the fair-weather type like being demonstrated here Curry would have not have been re upped by the dubs after his rook deal. You said you'd rather have the "current" 60 games played Curry than Zo, wow really, that's a stretch. I can only imagine GSW fans like this back in 2011-2012 and what would they say abut Curry then: "One trick pony, way undersized 6'2" SG trying to ba a PG and can't really defend at an NBA level, not explosive or athletic, 14/3/5 playing 34min, big deal. Dead-eye shooter sure, who has glass ankles, small, frail, can't fight around screens or finish well around the rim. Yeah a great shooter but no way this guy survives in the nba with those glass ankles and other disadvantages."

As for "team" potential it is what it's called, that is, it is based on a "team" not just an individual. Zo is clearly a team guy that feeds off others and vice-versa. He will find a way to fit in. Even with Lebron he does. His 3 will come around, he shot 36% from mid-Dec on 3s he needs confidence on it and it will come. He is a fun guy to watch play.

so you are you using Curry career projection onto Ball then? Like I said, what Curry turned out doesn't equte to what Ball career trajectory will look like and Ball has had stretches like that and stretches where he goes 0-9 but the one constant, his piss poor ft %, how many players in this league shoots sub 40% from the line but is an exceptional CONSISTENT 3pt shooter?

Zero. The closest was Bruce Bowen, but he was around 60% from the line, and managed to shoot almost 40% from 3.

I think the shooting ship has sailed. He'll improve, but not to where people hope.

That's said, when he's on the court he's impactful anyway.

I'm hopeful he'll stop getting hurt all the time as his body matures and he gets better training.

And that said, his injuries are concerning enough that if he were traded for value, I wouldn't cry.

I would not mind if we shipped him to Phoenix with maybe our pick to move up in the lottery to get Garland or Morant.

I still think James will opt out of his final year because of that player option.

He's mocked all over, but the ones I trust most have him going 4-7 last I saw. I thought if we got as low as 8/9, klutch could deliver him, but we'd have to trade up now.

I don't know. He's here for his after basketball life. And at that age, no one else will pay him that type of money. He will have been setting up his post-basketball career for 3 years at that point. Can't see him picking up and leaving for a season to get paid less money only to come back here.

Simmons could join the circus in 2021 after signing a QO and becoming a UFA that summer. Bron could make it happen with his opt out and then re-up at a more feasible cap hit (a la Dirk).

Can you imagine Lonzo and Simmons playing hot potato with eachother on the perimeter? The thought is pretty damn funny. “You don’t shoot it!”, “No, you don’t shoot it!”.

If he has a change to go and play on his son's team where ever that is he'll definitely do that I feel or finish up his career in CLE. He's said it before how cool it would be to play on the same team as his son. Whether that happens or not know ones but I know its a goal, idea of his.
