Passing? Outlet or half court it's creative and amazing. Makes us one of the best transitioning teams when he's on the floor. Low usage rate (perfect for LBJ), big influence on the game in getting others to pass to the open man. Leading, talks to players on the floor a lot more now, hustles gets us extra possessions and his switching versatility and though you said defensively he does more than the normal stuff like steals like guarding multiple positions and leading the team in deflections. Looking at his scoring too much is a trap and he is .592% from 0-3ft this season which is about 1/3 of his shots and an improvement and handy for a guy that can make use of the attention that draws going to the hoop a lot of that penetration ends up being to draw defense and pass.
Needs another year of hitting the weights. Thought he was big stuff, but he'll get there. Too skilled not to.
He started terribly, but he stuck with it, and his teammates didn’t stop going to him because of missed layups. LeBron hit him streaking our for a layup, KCP hit him on the break for a dunk, someone hit him for an alley oop dunk, it was good to see. He also sets excellent screens and is so good at pushing the ball and swinging the ball, getting hockey assists. The defense was pretty much excellent though, wade is still a tough cover, his game is getting you to bite on head/pump fakes, and Zo has an insane ability to not even flinch on those. This was his best all around game in a little while despite some yips.
If you go to Jason Kid's profile page at basketball-reference.com, you'll find a nickname for Kidd that reminds me of Zo right now.
@Khmrp Dude. He is 21. Hasn't yet played full season worth of games and plays with LeBron. If he already was a star, we'd be counting trophies ahead of time. So far, we have 3 promising young players and Ingram. We are fine.
didnt say we werent fine n i did say marginal was harsh, above avg ....that shot is not fixable, just hope he can be more aggressive attacking the paint
I don't care. The kid consistently makes winning basketball plays. That's all I care about. Especially if you factor in the price, you'd be hard-pressed to find such a production from a non-rookie player.
Lonzo is great. He is going to be a top top glue guy and have a 10+ year career making winning plays - if he can stay healthy. But he needs to improve a lot to be a star or a second option on a championship team.
